Seth heeft ons gezin met drie tieners rondgeleid en in een ochtend hebben we zoveel van de stad gezien ! Communicatie was heel goed, Seth haalde ons op bij ons appartement en was flexibel met het programma. Zijn rustige, prettige persoonlijkheid paste goed bij ons gezin en alle vijf hingen we aan zijn lippen. Seth was a charming and knowledgable guide. He took us round Berlin at a leisurely pace but we saw so much of the city. He wore his scholarship lightly but talked with great sensitivity and insight about memory and trauma. We visited a beautiful library, the Catholic cathedral, the opera house and a stunning 1920s shopping gallery ( with incredible chocolate shop) as well as the important historic and political sights we had specified. At the Holocaust memorial he was especially careful and respectful. A great trip and a lovely guy! Enjoyable and informative

This was our first visit to Berlin and we were looking for a general orientation to the city plus a deeper look at its history. Seth was terrific. He was flexible and responsive to our preferences (we are seniors and took it a bit slow on a very hot day.) He conveyed a huge amount of information to us in 3 hours, covering and weaving in past centuries of German history, the world wars, the division of Germany in 1945, and the post-reunification period. Really great tour - we opted for an alternative option rather than the standard sites will not suit everyone if they only have one day in Berlin but we opted for this alternative tour missing out the more obvious tourist sites as we had a free day on Sunday (no shopping either so loads of time to do the obvious stuff). Milena was really helpful making the most of our time by tailoring the tour to what we were doing before and after. I don’t usually write reviews unless something stands out, good or bad. Our walking tour with Seth was so good it needs to be highlighted. Seth was great about asking us about places we wanted to see and have a handful of suggestions that we wouldn’t have otherwise noted. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of why things were the way they were. He was also very easy to talk to and made asking questions easy. His knowledge of the transportation system let us cover a lot ground in a short time. We easy used train, tram and bus for short hops to different destinations. Excellent Experience with Seth

Martin showed us around Inner Berlin Mitte on our arrival in the city for the first time. We saw a lot of the major historical landmarks and Martin was very knowledgeable about the history and significance of the city. Martin took us to some out of the way areas that were of interest to us including the major theatres and cultural centres and a lovely stroll through the Jewish Quarter. From the moment we met Martin, we knew we were in for a great day. Martin brought his dog Wylie along and being dog lovers missing our own dog, it felt very local wandering around with a dog in tow. We were on a Baltic Sea cruise and booked Seth to show us around Berlin for the day. He was very flexible with our booking as we didn't have details of our times in the city until that morning when we docked. He met us at the train station and spent the next 6 hours showing us around, telling us interesting info about the city, taking us to an awesome Kebab place for lunch, and helping us find spots for hydration breaks in the 90 degree heat.
