We thoroughly enjoyed the tour itself (hidden gems), but having gone to the trouble of viewing all the tour guide options, selecting Kasim, it was Zeba who turned up. What’s the point of choosing? Second, I thought the booking process was laborious. I didn’t want to pay in euros so spent an hour re figuring my settings. I even messaged Kasim to say I didn’t want to pay in euros, but got no reply. Eventually I found the answer in the help area. Why not make it obvious that euros are the only acceptable payment? I probably wasted an hour and a half. We have used With Locals twice before and awarded 10/10. Next time, if there was an alternative provider, we would probably select that for our city guide. Tour good but admin poor.

I visited Dubai as a solo female traveler, and I wanted to book a tour to Old Dubai. Orlina was knowledgeable and friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable and welcomed. We had an other guide then we asked for. Everything was very commercial and nothing to do ‘with local’. Very disappointed tour!Disappointed

Ali (as he introduced himself) was amazing! We were a group of 8. 4 of us are from the USA, our 4 friends are from SA. Whenever one travels to a foreign place there is a bit of trepidation of the unknown. Ali alleviated these concerns immediately. He responded quickly to our initial messages and was very flexible to our timing requests. He then walked us through the city, being ever mindful of our limited heat intolerance. He was extremely knowledgeable, while not being long winded. He is so obviously proud of his country, and wants to convey the wonders of his city to the traveler. He was annoyed at the amount of money our transport charged us getting to the meeting site, so he arranged are taxis back. At half the cost. Other tourists stopped and asked him questions on our tour, which he graciously answered. He is honestly a good person. We will look for him upon our return. Trip to Old Towne Dubai

Wir haben bei Vibha eine dreistündige Individualtour mit Fokus auf den ältesten Stadtteil Dubais Al Fahidi sowie den Gold- und Gewürz-Souk gebucht. Das Wichtigste aber ist: Sie hat für uns eine sehr interessante Tour für uns zusammengestellt und uns durch für Touristen kaum auffindbare Gassen geführt und uns dadurch ermöglicht, in die Geschichte und das ursprüngliche Dubai einzutauchen. Vibha hat eine besondere Gabe, Informationen auf den Punkt und humorvoll zu vermitteln, so dass es während der dreistündigen Tour zu keinem Zeitpunkt langweilig wurde. Im Gegenteil: Die Zeit verging wie im Fluge. Wer daher nicht nur in der Hotelanlage den Urlaub verbringen und mit der Bevölkerung von Dubai in Kontakt gelangen möchte, dem sei eine Tour mit Vibha wärmstens empfohlen! The tour was exactly what I was looking for. I loved exploring the old town area with Orlina as she knew some good spots to go to that I probably would have overlooked going on my own. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Dubai and offered a lot of great information about the old town neighborhood and surrounding areas. *just a note if you’re booking on the website, make sure you notice what currency you’re being charged in. I actually paid $120 more than I thought because I didn’t notice change in currency.Enjoyable Tour, lots of unique areas

This was an awesome tour to kick of my first Dubai experience! It was focused on the old part of the city and I got to learn a lot about the history of the city while also getting to to see some of the main attractions such as the Souks. Orlina was very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell she really cares about providing a good tour. The boat ride was one of my favorite parts of the tour and it was fun to see how things were back in the older days. I would definitely recommend Orlina as a great guide! The tour was factual and took us to areas of Dubai we would not have otherwise seen or known about. It was sometimes a bit too fast and speed walking through the souks meant we couldn’t stop and appreciate the stalls. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we got to try some local food delicacies. Amazing Desert Safari in Dubai! The desert safari was an unforgettable experience! The dune bashing was thrilling, the sunset over the dunes was stunning, and the Bedouin-style camp was full of great activities like camel rides and sandboarding. I think this service is really hit or miss depending on if you get the guide you book. Unfortunately, Kasim wasn't able to provide the tour but appointed another guide to take us. This guide was just okay. He didn't seem to know a lot about the food and wasn't able to support requested dietary accommodations. This was the most expensive tour we booked while in Dubai and I don't know if it was worth the price. Hope you get your guide!

Sandy catched us from our hotel and then we drove to Abu Dhabi. We made a lot of stopps. A greater stopp was at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. That was really very impressing. He explained us the facts and had all answers to our questions. After this we went to the former Kempinski Hotel, then we wanted to see some spots away from the grand tourism (meat and fish- market…) And he fullfilled our wish to have lunch in a typical Arabian Restaurant. It was an awsome experience and very delicious. And on our way back to Dubai we had a look at the racing place from Formula 1. We spent 8 hours with Sandy and we Are very thankful for this time. We can highly recommend him and this tour. And the driver was very kind, also. Thanks for all, Sandy.What a wonderful day!

Sandy is an absolutely amazing guide. He is kind, friendly and very knowledgable. The tour was a wonderful mix of Dubai history and tasting the most delicious foods. Sandy is very passionate about the food and the tours and you get to enjoy areas you wouldn't necessarily go to without having local knowledge. We eat a mainly vegetarian diet but sometimes have fish. Our diet was perfectly catered for! The grilled sea bass with Arabic spices was a particular highlight!! Ikram ist ein toller Guide, um eine ersten Eindruck von der Stadt zu erhalten. Er ist sympathisch und erzählt viel über die Stadt - jung und alt. Schön fanden wir auch, dass er so viele unserer Fragen beantwortet hat. Alles was wir über Dubai und die Emiraten wissen wollten. Wer fernab der üblichen Touristen-Führungen etwas erleben möchte, sollte eine Buchung von „with locals“ in Erwägung ziehen. We wanted to do an evening tour starting at 5pm to avoid the worst of the heat. We couldn't find any group options allowing this so decided to go with a private guide and this was definitely a good choice. Tamour was very flexible on timing, communicative and responsive in advance of the tour, as well as being a very well-informed, interesting and polite guide. Ikram war ein toller Tour Guide mit vielen Information zu Dubai und den Einwohnern. Dabei gab er auch persönliche Einblicke über das Leben im Emirat! Auch Insider Tipps über Schokolade und Gewürze waren dabei! Auf der Tour nahm sich Ikram auch Zeit und gab den Teilnehmern auch Zeit zu Shoppen und half bei „handeln“ mit den Verkäufern! Zwischendurch wurden wir mit einem leckeren einheimischen Snack verpflegt! Auch eine kurze Bootstour über den Dubai Creek war im Preis inbegriffen! Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert ! We highly recommend this Dubai Culinary Kick Start Tour. When visiting new countries we try to find food tours to give us an idea of the cuisine of the area. During this tour we tasted Dubai’s traditional hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabbouleh with the local bread. Our next stop we tried cheese and lamb dumplings as well as the charcoal chicken. Our last stop was the camel burger which was better than we expected. All of the food choices and amounts were great, even if we weren’t able to finish all of the dishes because of the quantity. Melwyn was an incredible guide. He was knowledgeable and easy to talk to during the tour. He was also helpful with directions and advice on our last day. Wonderful Food Tour Experience

The Dubai tour with Ikram was not your run of the mill tour. Even though we were exhausted coming off the flight, Ikram made the whole thing super entertaining, VERY informative and energising. We had our two teen girls with us and we did the half day tour in April. Now bear in mind that Ikram is NOT one of the guides that moved to Dubai and learnt just enough things to start tour guiding. He is a degree qualified born and bread local with perfect English who is truly passionate about what he does, the people he meets and the country he represents. He has his own company and cares about your experience. He met us at the airport, escorted us to the waiting Nissan Patrol. Discussed the draft itinerary with us to make sure he covered everything we wanted to see, then added more cultural sights and even a boat ride to the spice and gold market. This is the way to go rather than a pre configured trip where you go to places you may not be too excited about. Since he grew up in Dubai, he told us all the information that you wouldn’t even think about like how to spot a rental vs private sports car. The life and privileges of local Emiraties. The history of the royal family. We even spotted the crown prince’s car driving the opposite direction. The old and new Dubai, the architecture in both, where to haggle, the projects of the future. Everything was so coorindated between the guide and the driver that we wasted zero time on things like parking. We got dropped off in the perfect location for each attraction and got picked up the exact location and time we finished viewing, photographing and appreciating the attractions. We were all thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. We have travelled many countries and dozens of tours and this one was worth every cent and we would recommend Ikram to anyone that want to see and know more about Dubai. You will get so much more than the typical tours on offer. We will definitely be back in Dubai and will most definitely choose him again for visits. Oh yes and he also threw in somethings at the end that we really appreciated but I won’t spoil the surprise for you! Happy TouringNot your average guide!

Ikram was charming and very knowledgeable. We walked around areas of old Dubai we wouldn’t have discovered without Ikram’s guidance. The three hours went by very quickly. We started our tour at 9:30am which was ideal. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dubai.Great insight into old Dubai

Our family of 4 (2 teens) asked for a super short tour of Dubai - we pushed Sandy to only do 3 hours as we were jet lagged. He gave us such a great look at the main areas, balancing car time with getting us out and walking around. During old Dubai tour, he got us into a very local eatery and we had the BEST swarma we have ever had! GREAT helpful tour guide!Highly recommend Sandy for Dubai tour!!
