I had a great tour with Laos in Mexico City. He customized the experience based on my interests, and since it was a religious day, most museums were closed — but he made the most of it by focusing on churches, landmarks, and, of course, tacos. His background in art really came through, and he was incredibly patient and knowledgeable throughout. I had asked to include some food stops, and he definitely delivered — taking me to a few local spots I never would’ve found on my own. Felt more like exploring the city with a friend than a guide. We had a wonderful time with Victor as he showed my family of four around Centro Historico and gave us a good overview of the city's history. We went to pockets of the city that we would not have known about and Victor was patient and asked us questions about our interests and plans for our trip. Definitely one of a kind experience. LGBTQ history told here was deep cut. We lucked out with a good group. Insightful questions and friendly chatting organically extended the tour by an hour but Tania was 100% down to make sure we got the complete experience. Would highly recommend this tour. Keep in mind: food stop is early on afternoon tour, so best to come a bit hungry. Two clean bathroom breaks included as well. Thanks Tania for an unforgettable experience!!Definitely one of a kind experience!

We had hoped to see the Frida Kahlo museum but couldn’t get tickets, but went to Cuoycan anyway and had very enjoyable tour with Al. It’s only about 25-30 mins from the city but it’s much slower, relaxed pace. We walked all along cobble stone streets to see some of the beautiful old homes, stopped in a watercolor painting museum, saw the town square and got some ice cream and churros. It was really nice way to spend our last day, highly recommend Al. Relaxed walk through Cuoyacan

We had a great time with Daniel on a walking food tour exploring neighborhood places. This was our first evening in Mexico City so it helped orient us to the different areas, too. Street side quesadillas, yes crickets(!), spicy candy, tacos, churros it was hard to keep up and you’ll be stuffed afterwards. Really enjoyed learning more about some history as well as the food scene in Mexico City. Great intro to lots of different tastes

It was so interesting to hear a different side of Mexico's indigenous and contemporary history. We stopped at the main landmarks, but Tania also highlighted important hidden landmarks. Each story was told with care, as some were heavier than others. What makes this a tour for the girls, gays, and theys, is that there is a shared understanding of the dangers of repression and the systematic isolation of people based on gender or sexuality. Nevertheless, that does not mean you have to be a girl, gay, or they to fully appreciate the tour, as it's not about that. It's about learning a side of history you would not necessarily learn from a normal city walking tour guide. I love history, so this was so much fun for me. I appreciate all the research that went into creating this experience, and I hope everyone else enjoys too. :)A side of history you wouldn't necessarily learn from other tour guides!

I seriously couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Tania was an AMAZING host who brought a perfect mix of extensive historical and cultural knowledge but also amazing vibes that made the tour fun and not like sitting in class. I learned so many things that I would not have just walking around myself. Also, as a queer person, it was so nice to be in a space made for people like me while traveling to a new city. I had the privilege of taking a private group historical walking tour with Viktor as an introduction to incredible Mexico City! It was easy to book. Viktor communicated before the tour to ask if we had any special interests or limitations. The meeting point was really busy because it was a Sunday afternoon, but we connected with no problems. From the first minute I knew we had the “right” guide for us. His enthusiasm and love of his city and country were immediately evident. We walked at the right pace, never felt rushed and he adjusted his timing as needed throughout the tour. The included snack/ beverage was great and very welcomed about 2/3 into the tour. His knowledge of the buildings and history were incredible. I will be back and hope to have another tour with Viktor. Great guide, great tour

If you are thinking of booking a tour with Victor--do it right away. He books up fast and with good reason. My husband and I, who travel a lot (though this was our first time in CDMX) and like to use local guides, booked three tours with Vincent, and all three were among the best we've ever had. We did the Kickstart tour our first day in town, the off the beaten track Coyoacan tour, and a tour Victor put together for us of the Lagunilla Market (a huge flea market on Sundays that would have been impossible to navigate without Victor). From start to finish, Victor was friendly, charming, and so knowledgable about a city he clearly loves dearly and understands deeply. He was so flexible about seeing what we wanted and making suggestions about routes that we would like best, following up with lots of information after the tours so we could continue to explore more on our own. By the end of the tours with Victor, we not only learned a lot about CDMX but we feel like we made a new friend for life!Victor is 100% the best!!

My group and I had such a great experience with Tania! Tania had a wealth of knowledge regarding queer history, feminist activism, and indigenous history in Mexico City. Nothing we learned on this tour could easily be found in textbooks or even online, so I was very impressed by how much independent research Tania had done and what an expert she was on these important subjects. She also provided a list of recommendations on movies and documentaries if we wanted to learn more. Tania had a great sense of humor and was very easy to get along with, so we all enjoyed spending the day with her. The restaurant we started the tour at was also very delicious and unique, so that was a fun added bonus.
