Für uns war die Tour genau der richtige Einstieg für unseren 4.5 Tage Wien Aufenthalt. Susanne war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Lokale gezeigt und interessante Facts zu den Orten oder Wien erzählt. Die ersten beiden Stops waren auch super. Allerdings haben wir dann beim zweiten Stop recht lange gebraucht, sodass wir nach hinten raus zu wenig Zeit hatten, um noch etwas anständiges zu essen. Der dritte Stop war dann in einem Pralinenladen und der letzte ein Café zum Bier trinken. Es war also relativ wenig Essen bei der Tour und das letzte Café wirkte eher zufällig gewählt. Laut Beschreibung hätte es 6x Essen/Trinken geben sollen. Wir sind aber somit nur auf 4 Stops gekommen. Wir kennen das so anders von anderen Foodtouren, vor allem für diesen Preis.Gut, aber zu wenig Foodstops

Roxane hat sich super nach den Bedürfnissen der Gruppe gerichtet. Wollen die mehr weniger, kürzer ..oder noch was anderes wissen. Geschichtliche zusammenhänge wurden witzig in Anektoten verpackt und verknüpft mit was wir schon gesehen hatten -so merkt man sich wirklich was. Wir werden Sie jedenfalls weiter empfehlen- wir haben Sie als Private Führerin genommen, und das war super!!!Wirklich großartig & lustig!

As this was our first time in Vienna, we chose a City Kickstart tour through Withlocals to get an overview and introduction of what to see. Our local guide, Roxana was amazing! In addition to her bubbly warm personality, she was a wealth of knowledge. In the relatively short time together, we learned more about the history, art, culture and unique aspects we never would have picked up in a large group tour or reading a visitors' guide. Doing this on foot was fanastic as we saw so much and knew exactly where we wanted to return to to spend more time and tour inside. Roxane amazed us with her depth of understanding the history: good, bad and quirky facts that were fascinating to listen to. A really great experience! Sandie can tell you a lot about Vienna as well as travelling to many other places. In terms of food, there is plenty to eat! It is a good mix of savory and sweet Austrian dishes. It is also a good introduction to the city's center -- this is a great thing to do on the first day of a stay in Vienna, as it will give you a good sense of both the city and the cuisine. Great introduction to Viennese cusine.

Selin gave us a lovely mixture of history and food tastings that introduced us to Vienna beautifully. Our meeting point was not clear, however, so it was frustrating to be waiting for over half an hour in different places around the cathedral, both too worried about moving to look for each other! I suggest giving better instructions or even posting a photo of where to meet, telling clients what you will be wearing..the crowds at the Cathedral made it difficult! We were glad Selin didn't give up on us when our phones were not working and we eventually connected via email. A great tour, very personable and some great food! Laye start, but a good tour.

Sandie is a wonderful vivacious Guide. She was knowledgeable & engaging. She picked me up at my hotel & as we walked she explained the history & significance of the buildings & monuments. Her tour was perfectly pitched for a first time visitor. My food experience was amazing. I so enjoyed my sandwiches @ Trezesniewski. We next went to Cafe Engländer where I enjoyed the best Vienna Schnizel & potato salad - the dressing was delicious. I enjoyed my first glass of Viennese wine - similar to Riesling. Desert was at Cafe Diglas & even though I was fit to burst I managed to enjoy the most delicious Apple Strudel Sandie was generous with her time & my tour ran until its natural conclusion. We only had one day in Vienna and really felt Claudia-Marie was the best fit for us. She worked around her schedule so we could have a 3-hour city tour with her. She was so knowledgeable, but also mixed in a lot of stories with the facts which made it so much more pleasurable and memorable. Even though it was a city tour, we stopped in a famous place and got a pastry and had an opportunity to sit and get out of the cold as well as an amazing wine bar with a cellar! Claudia-Marie helped us look for unique gifts as we walked as well. With her archeology background, she was able to add another dimension to the history and architecture. We went with Sandie on a Vienna walking food tour. We only had one day in Vienna and the night before arriving I reached out to see if we could squeeze in a tour with her. Roxanne was an amazing tour guide. I had been in touch. With her prior to arriving in Vienna. I wanted to see if I could find my family home and trace some significant family locations there. Sandie from Vienna was a fun guide for my day trip to the Wachau Valley, delivering an experience that blended wine, culture, and local charm. From the moment we set off, her warmth, knowledge, and passion for the region made the journey engaging and memorable. Our first stop was a small winery run by her friend Phillip, who welcomed us with a fascinating tour of his vineyard. His insights into the winemaking process, paired with a tasting of his wines, set a high bar for the day. Sandie’s personal connection with Phillip added a special touch, making the visit feel intimate and authentic. Next, we visited another winery, this one led by one of the few female winemakers in the region—a friend of Phillip’s.
