Karmen was great company and highly informative on our 2-3 hour tour of Dubrovnik. She was very receptive of what we wanted, (more of the historic detail) which she conveyed with a real sense of fun. Highly recommended!
Our morning spent with Marko on a history tour was enlightening and we left with a much better understanding of past events. He was punctual, a great communicator and captured our attention during his tour. Mid morning we sat and chatted over coffee (our request) and asked him Qs about his life and that of his family growing up in Dubrovnik and about living through The Balkans War, all fascinating stuff. Having Marko to ourselves was a bonus, yes you do pay more but in our view well worth the money.
Tea was delightful. She was extremely knowledgeable with a brilliant sense of humour. She adapted out two to the six of us, stopping for drinks and snacks as well as showing us all the sights.
Our adult family of four toured Dubrovnik on a busy weekend day, and Romana made our tour feel very private and special. Her pride in Dubrovnik and her passion for its history is evident, and we loved seeing the back alleys and hidden gems like the local spices and foods in the home of a Dubrovnik shopkeeper. Visiting the Memorial Room of the Fallen Dubrovnik Soldiers was very moving, and brought home the hardships this beautiful city has faded over the many centuries. Romana is the tour guide you want, to get the full experience while visiting Dubrovnik!
