Martin is an exceptional guide who opens doors to the history and culture of Berlin. The city comes come alive in his narrative and accessible for visitors. The tour picks up on the details what it means and how best to take advantage of living in a historical and culturally rich city— I absolutely adored his cultural anecdotes . Inspiring, informative and pleasant!
It was incredibly inspiring to cross Berlin with Martin, following the trail of persons resisting the national-socialist ideology and instead chose to do the right thing in the 1933-1945 period! Martin has extensive knowledge about this part of German history and shared this with stories, a nice list for further reading and recommendations for films and documentaries. In summary: highly recommended if you want to learn a about this less known part of Berlin history!
