An amzing afternoon cooking

Vonny spent the whole afternoon with us. First we went shopping for ingredients, then we cooked together. Afterwards we got a coffee tasting. We noticed we would still need to buy some coffee and souvenirs so she went with us to get the coffee and souvenirs shopping, followed by some ice cream at the oldest ice cream place in Surabaya. Instead of the three hours mentioned in the app, she spent 8 hours with us. Absolute 10/10 experience, no notes. Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!!

I had such an amazing time cooking with Vonny. She taught me not only traditional cooking techniques, but the process and reasoning behind them all. I can't wait till I can return home and make it there! Highly recommend :)

The highlight of our Indonesia trip

The beginning of our trip in Ubud and Gili was far from satisfying, added to that our Ijen trip cancellation due to seismic activity, thank God for these happenstances we stumbled upon the most talented Vonny, with her deep knowledge of Surabayan culture, cuisine and history we had a beautiful time discussing Javanese food, language and the past in the Pasar where she took us grocery shopping while sipping Kopi Tubruk, followed by cooking with the most polite and nicest Warung friends - the Warung chef and his olek-olek grinding skills put food processors to shame. Our tummies were full of delicious food and hearts full of joy, promising to visit her again very soon on our next Indonesia trip.

Exceptional experience

The cooking class with Ni Nyoman was amazing. She kindly showed us through her family temple. Then showed us how to prepare and cook authentic Balinese dishes using traditional ways. Fresh ingredients. Super clean. Very delicious and diverse tastes of Bali. And we received the recipes at the end. Her brother in law Agung also picked us up a long way away in Sanur, and this was included in the price. Ni Nyoman has given us an experience to savour forever.
