We had a such a great day , we were a group of 8 mix of children and adults and the Raffaele made a great tour of Pompei and the Museum of archaeology in Naples in the afternoon. Can only recommend him, very knowledgeable, great humour and made the ruins just come alive . Thank you!

What an amazing day with Raffaele. Pompeii was a bucket list item for me and I really wanted to spend an entire day being immersed in all Pompeii and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples had to offer. I struggled to find a tour that would provide what I was looking for, and then I found Raffaele on WithLocals. He has such a passion and knowledge for Pompeii and the history, and he was able to really provide not only an overview of what we were seeing, but brought to life how Romans lived before the eruption. It will be a day my husband and I talk about for a long, long time.

Raffaele was a knowledgeable and engaging guide. We traveled at the height of the tourist season and the day we had our tour there were 9 ships in port. Needless to say, Pompeii was busy. Raffaele navigated around the crowds, showing us key locations and making our visit memorable. He brought the history to life and we were able to understand what we were seeing. We had lunch just outside the gate at Hortus Pompeii - a refreshing garden atmosphere with quality food and drinks. Next we took the train into the city and met Raffaele at the Archeological Museum, which holds artifacts from Pompeii, Herculaneum and Rome. Again we were thoughtfully toured through the collection, where he was able to put the collection into context for us. Raffaele made our day in Naples and at Pompeii - we highly recommend his services!
