A MUST DO when in Rome
Firstly, Roberta is amazing. I feel like I’ve found a great friend! She knows where to take you and what to suggest, and just genuinely is easy to talk to.
Secondly, most of the food she presents you with is things you wouldn’t know are vegan unless you’re a local. And let me tell you, it is DELIGHTFUL! I went to a different location to find the same items the next day.
This is an absolute MUST as a vegan when visiting Rome - Roberta even provides you with recommendations of where you should go. You really can’t go wrong booking this tour.

Incredible Risotto Workshop with Massimo!
During our recent visit to Rome, we participated in a risotto cooking workshop led by Massimo, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip! Massimo welcomed us into his beautiful classic apartment, located just a stone's throw from the Colosseum. Although the apartment is considered 'new' by Roman standards at 150 years old, it exudes the charm and history of the city.
Massimo is not only a master in the kitchen but also an exceptionally friendly and engaging storyteller. As he taught us the art of making risotto, he shared fascinating stories about daily life in Rome and the cultural differences between northern and southern Italy. His stories were so captivating that, inspired by his anecdotes, we decided never to buy Barilla pasta again, just like him! ;-)
His perfect command of the English language allowed us to have truly enjoyable and in-depth conversations. The cozy atmosphere was completed with a delightful glass of wine with the meal.
And now the most important part: did we learn anything from the workshop? Absolutely! Massimo provided us with countless tips and tricks. Making risotto may not be complicated, but it does require constant attention and care. Thanks to Massimo, we now feel confident in making the perfect risotto at home.
We highly recommend Massimo to anyone looking for a unique and educational culinary experience in Rome. Grazie mille, Massimo!

The highlight of my vacation
I can not recommend Sal enough!! He was the highlight of my Rome experience. He suggested a hike on the Appian way and it was epic. He met me at the train station at 6 am and he already had my ticket for me and we took the train out of Rome. It was perfect i cant recommend this enough even if you need to do a shorter hike than I did. He completely got that I wanted to keep it moving so we walked 10 miles while he gave me the history of what we were seeing. In between we had fabulous conversation. I will be back!!!

Amazing tour with Thomas
