Jessica took Yvonne and I on a local bar/izakaya/yakitori tour. Because it was raining steadily, we focused on indoor establishments within a short walking distance. Jessica is very familiar with local specialties and introduced us unique items that we were unlikely to discover on our own. She also tailored the menu to our tastes, accomodating my desire to try different types of sake and shochu, as well as Yvonne's desire for various types of seafood and preparations. The establishments themselves catered primarily to local residents, and we did not envounter other tourists. Jessica is fun, a good conversationalist, very knowledgeable about anime and local culture in general, with excellent people skills.
