Flexible and Enjoyable Tour/Workout!
Rita was an amazing guide for our day exploring Sintra! I expressed my dream of seeing Peña Palace and Regaleira in one day. Rita expressed worry about the achievability of this plan, but was willing to try to make it work! We made it work! It was an enjoyable experience, though a bit of a workout! Wear comfy shoes! After touring the beautiful grounds of Peña and Regaleira, Rita took us to a delightful place with beach access for lunch. We had hoped to make it to Cascais as well, but ran out of time. Rita was willing to hang with us as our kids enjoyed the beach. She was engaging with the kids - perhaps because she has two kiddos that are similar aged. The day felt like spending a day with a friend. She shared with us her love for the area, which made the tour a great learning and fun time! We are so thankful for Rita!

Jeep-Abenteuer in Sintra
Wir hatten einen tollen Tag mit Mario! Nach der Zugfahrt von Lissabon nach Sintra (Portela de Sintra!) sind wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager) in unseren Jeep gestiegen. Mario hat einen wunderbaren Job gemacht. Mit viel Hintergrundwissen hat er uns “seine” Stadt gezeigt und dafür gesorgt, dass wir bestens unterhalten waren. Statt bei der Quinta de Regaleira waren wir in Monserrate - eine gute Entscheidung! Nach einem Mittagessen (wirklich hervorragend!) sind wir zum Strand gefahren und dann über Nebenstraßen zu einem Aussichtspunkt, wo man den westlichsten Punkt Europas im Blick hat - nur ohne die Touristen-Massen.
Alles in allem - verdiente 10 von 10 Sternen! Danke, Super Mario!

Simply the best!
This was our first time in Portugal, and the day with Lius was one of the best experiences we've had! He communicated with us before the tour and accommodated with a later start and ending due to personal reasons. We never felt rushed. He was highly knowledgeable about the history and the details of everything. He provided history along the way, an added bonus! He also gave us a brief but nice shopping break in Cascais. I cannot imagine this tour without a guide like Lius. He provided us with excellent touring tips for the following day. He is also super fun! I will give his cards to friends who plan to visit Portugal. Thank you, Lius, for making our trip so memorable!
