Delightful guide
We really enjoyed our two day Amsterdam tour with Kawika. He is very knowledgeable and was helpful and sensitive to our wants and needs. He managed to reconfigure our tour due to airline delays and still made our stay in Amsterdam most enjoyable and interesting. His artistic insight and general artistic knowledge are exceptional and really added to the artistic aspect, and he listened carefully to us and curated a bespoke tour suited exactly to what we wanted and could manage. In addition to all that, he is a very nice person who is passionte about Amsterdam and his work. We highly recommend him, he is delightful. Mike and Abigail (65 year old couple)

Great Tour with Rolf
We had a wonderful family tour (two 15 year olds) with Rolf. Rolf struck a nice balance between speaking to the adults while at the same time holding the teenagers’ interest. We particularly enjoyed how he put the art in the broader historical context. We will definitely seek Rolf out for our next Rijksmuseum visit.

Van Gogh Museum Tour
Had a great tour of the Van Gogh museum with Rolf. He offered to buy our tickets ahead of time so we could skip the line and spend more time in the museum, spent time preparing visual examples we could look at on his tablet screen, and taught us as a group how an art historian can isolate details in studying a painting. If you want to learn about Van Gogh’s life, understand how his paintings in context, and learn how to study them, there is no better guide.
