Excellent Cooking Tour by Aura

Aura was an excellent tour guide, making sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire tour and waking up so early to meet me at my hotel. She thoroughly explained the background behind each ingredient of each dish we cooked and was indefatigable in her energy when cooking as well as guiding me through the Cu Chi tunnels. I 100% would recommend Aura and Tan's Cooking class to any future visitors - you will not regret it.

Great experience

Absolutely great experience with delicious food and a fantastic guide. We learned so much about all the ingredients, ways of cooking and Vietnamese history. We can really recommend this tour, also very suitable for kids.

Amazing experience

This is a great tour combination, we can definitely recommend. We enjoyed a whole day-trip together with Lani, who picked us up at the hotel, gave us many insights into the countries history, cuisine and culture and taught us a lot about local vegetables and herbs and how to turn them into delicious food. After the cooking class, where we also got to meet Chef Tan, we visited the Cu Chi tunnels together and learned even more about the area’s history. Lani is a wonderful, energetic, open-minded and knowledgeable person and we enjoyed the day together with her very much!

Great Experience, highly recommended

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, our guide was No ( Susan ) she was fun and enthusiastic, after being picked up from my hotel in District 1 we went to the organic farm / cookery school where No led us around the extensive growing areas picking fresh produce we would use later in the cooking course, she was very knowledgeable about the ingredients with lots of extra interesting information. We then cooked four courses, prawn crispy rolls, Vietnamese style BBQ beef with a lovely salad, Chicken in a clay pot, then finishing off with some banana fritters, all delicious! ( my advice is not to have a big breakfast ! ) We then went to the tunnels where again No was a font of information, it was fascinating tour of the ingenuity of the Vietcong during the war and really interesting, definitely one of the best experiences I had in Saigon !
