Taking Thien’s photography tour felt like walking and chatting with a good friend. She has a warm, easygoing style that made the experience both comfortable and inspiring. We explored hidden gems across four different districts, and she shared rich historical context along the way that really brought the city to life. Her passion for storytelling and eye for beautiful, lesser-known spots made the tour unforgettable. I had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see Ho Chi Minh City, commonly known as Saigon to the locals, through a more authentic and artistic lens.

Great tour by Thien, who was amazingly knowledgeable on the history of the area, and with plenty of personal stories to add. We visited photographic areas of Ho Chi Minh City, but when Thien learnt of my interest in the local markets and eateries, Thien was also able to accommodate these into the tour. This tour was one of my highlights of my visit to Vietnam, and I will easily recommend Thien to family and friends on their future visits.

We were on a cruise ship and arrived at the port 90mins away. We arranged a driver however Thien now has this driver contact and I would highly recommend her choice. She took us on a tour of the coffee shop, local markets, eating our way through as we went. There was something for everyone and it was amazingly peaceful and authentic. Thien was considerate yet informative. We were with my 6 and 1 year old children and she catered to their needs so well. We left thinking we could do that same tour again or book another one with her! She is honestly worth every cent, and we are so so glad we had her guiding us. If time is short or you want a real life experience in Vietnam then please book Thien. I recommend her 10000% to everyone. Especially cruisers and short holidays in Ho Chi Minh. We will visit again soon Thien!

We had a wonderful afternoon with Thien. Her enthusiasm for her home city was matched by her friendly personality. Throughout the tour we gained a real insight to the city and Vietnam in general. Having a 'private' tour meant that we could ask lots of questions and Thien also made sure that she covered places that we wouldn't be covering on our time in the city. Walking around the sights on your own is fine, but if you want to find out what a place is really like, book a tour with a local. Thien is 100% recommend 🙂
