I was born and raised in Tuscany and have always been a curious art lover, so that I have been organising exhibitions and art events for over ten years out of passion. A few years ago I embarked on the new experience of becoming a tourist guide and I am looking forward to sharing with you stories, anecdotes, familiar places and hidden corners of my Florence, a city of great traditions which still thrives on a great fabric of artisans and artists who still enliven our streets and who are willing to share with your their stories.

We had the most lovely tour with Alessandra— you should absolutely book with her! She is a warm and knowledgeable host who knows all the ins and outs of Florence. She joined my family of two parents and two teenage girls and took us into an area I would not have found. It was like seeing all of the local spots buried in a touristy area - beautiful! We loved visiting a few old churches (with incredible frescoes and histories to enjoy), and squares, and got to take in a beautiful view, as well as some modern art. After learning that we are avid readers, she found a lovely bookshop/cafe for us to relax and cool down with a coffee and snack - we were the only Americans there, which I can’t say about anywhere else we have visited! She also found us some tickets to a classical music concert for that evening, AND dropped us off at a wonderful trattoria (again- local!) for lunch. She really tailored the day to what we wanted. We learned so much and enjoyed the pleasure of Alessandra’s good company the entire time. Have a wonderful time on your tour with Alessandra!Go enjoy a morning with Alessandra!

Alessandra gave sus the perfect walking tour. She was able to tailor our time with her to give us a real flavour of Florence. We had many questions about its history and also that of Italy and she was able to answer them all bringing Florence through the ages to life with stories about key figures. We went to many places off the beaten track and managed to avoid the big crowds. We would highly recommend her. Her lunch recommendation was great too!!!Perfect walking tour

We were a group of friends, some of us had been to Florence before and some for the first time. We wanted to explore the city with an expert guide, someone who had the inside track on not just the most popular spots, but also those hidden gems which only a city with the history of Florence can offer. Alessandra was an amazing guide with whom we spent the entire day. She knew when we needed a coffee break, just to rest the feet for a bit. She also took us to an amazing local restaurant where the pasta was absolutely delicious and only €7 a head. There were so many interesting sights, including a rooftop view of the city from an ancient tower, a boutique perfumery which was originally run by Dominican friars and several frescoes and paintings in small churches you would never find yourself. I can really recommend Alessandra if you want to delve into this historic city. A wonderful day exploring Florence

Fantastico tour a piedi per Firenze Abbiamo trascorso una mattinata molto piacevole con Alessandra passeggiando per le strade di Firenze e ascoltando le storie delle famiglie e dei potenti che hanno plasmato la città e la sua architettura. Alessandra è estremamente ben informata sulla storia ed è stata felice di rispondere a tutte le nostre domande e adattare il tour ai nostri interessi. Abbiamo adorato scoprire aree della città che altrimenti non avremmo saputo.Fantastico tour a piedi per Firenze

Eravamo un gruppo di 4 persone, con interessi sia nel cibo che nell'artigianato, quindi Alessandra era la Guida perfetta per noi! Lei era flessibile con gli accordi così abbiamo adattato il tour alimentare per soddisfare i nostri altri interessi. La comunicazione è stata estremamente facile mentre stavamo pianificando, e anche il meet up è stato facile. Alessandra ci ha portato a vedere una fabbrica di seta, una dimostrazione di marmorizzazione della carta, un orafo e altri, oltre a trovare il tempo per i gusti alimentari in un piccolo bar e un viaggio in un mercato alimentare. Our tour guide Alessandra was very flexible, working through the tour with whatever we got to do. Any addition to food, she toured us through the smaller parts of Florence pointing out the history of this part of town; stopping in on a local stone maker and many other things. So enjoyable spending the afternoon with her.mazing - Much More Than a Food Experience

This was the perfect tour to get acquainted with the city. We loved our guide , Alessandra - she was extremely well versed in the history of Florence and gave us a perfect walking food & history tour. Highly recommend for anyone who is new to Florence.History, food and wine - excellent combo

Our tour guide was amazing. She had the opportunity to show us various locations and expose us to foreign dishes that we hadn't experienced before. I cannot stress enough how much I endorse Alessandra Bini; she is unparalleled in her excellence.Incredible
