Rome is my hometown, and I love to share my love for this city during my tours!
I'm a licensed Rome tour guide and a Vatican guide with years of experience. Narrating the stories and mostly the people, the artists, the Popes behind the centuries old streets, Renaissance and Baroque squares or old Roman ruins is my passion.
No tour in Rome can go without hints to its increadibly rich cusine, and as a local and a foodie I know lots about it and will happily tell you everything about it!

I travel frequently and have booked many tours with many guides through different companies. I can say without any hesitation that Alessandra was the best and most enjoyable tour guide I’ve ever had. It started with the moment I booked the tour and she efficiently guided me through the process of purchasing tickets to the Colosseum. She then communicated frequently with me until the day of the tour. Despite having done another tour earlier in the day, she was still full of energy and enthusiasm. Her tour of the Colosseum and Forum was informative in the most entertaining way, she had the most fascinating stories to keep us constantly interested for the duration of the 2.5 hour tour. She was also so kind and accommodating to my mother who needed frequent breaks from the heat and the steps. I cannot recommend Alessandra highly enough if you want to have the most enjoyable guided tour through Rome. Grazie mille Alessandra, I really hope to see you again on my next visit. Best tour guide ever!

Alessandra was a fantastic guide for my son and me at the Colosseum and Roman Forum! More than just an expert, she had an incredible ability to tailor her explanations to our level of historical knowledge. But what really set her apart was her gift for storytelling—she brought Ancient Rome to life with captivating and entertaining tales. We’d definitely want her as our guide again for any future tours. We had a fantastic tour with Alessandra! Her knowledge was on point and she showed us everything we wanted to see. The communication prior to the tour was excellent and she gave us great food recommendations for our group as we were looking for gluten free restaurants. Definitely would recommend for a tour!Alessandra the knowledgeable!

At very short notice, Alessandra came to our rescue and created a bespoke tour for the four of us of the Colosseum and the surrounding areas. Her knowledge was outstanding as was her use of English. She advised us how best to buy the tickets on line from the Colosseum website and met us on the day exactly as planned.

Our afternoon with Alessandra at the Colosseum was our best for our stay in Rome! Alessandra's passion for Roman ancient history is clear and infectious. She showed us sights and perspectives that the guide books could never do, which made our experience all the more memorable and enjoyable. Her energy never dipped throughout the 3 hour tour, appealing to my 22 year old daughter, as much as me! Book Alessandra now!
Side note, I hope the tour guides get to keep the large proportion of the fees!The Best Tour Guide!

Alessandra is amazing and really outstanding in every way possible - she is very knowledgeable, extremely receptive to her audience and understanding of their needs (history and culture in our case) and excellent company (lovely personality and really easygoing and smart). We really enjoyed our time with Alessandra - we learned so much and her storytelling style really helped to bring home historical facts in the best way possible for us to remember them.
We love “With Locals” to see places but Alessandra takes With Locals tours to another level altogether. A rating of 10 as an overall satisfaction score is unable to capture her skills and her talent - she exceeds it in every way. Our entire family recommends her without hesitation - you cannot do better than Alessandra on a tour of Rome! Alessandra is outstanding!

Alessandra was an excellent Tour Guide. She definitely took us to some less touristy places, but also hit the major sites of Roma. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. You could tell she really loves her city. This is our first experience with Withlocals and since our tour with Alessandra we have booked three more in other cities via WithLocals. She also gave us recommendations for multiple places to eat around Napoli, depending on where our adventures took us. This was above and beyond and again it’s another city that she clearly, clearly loves which was evident when her face began to light up as she began to speak about places in Napoli. We highly recommend her!We LOVED Alessandra!!!
