Alessandro gets raves from us. Aside from being extremely knowledgeable about the history and art of Venice, he is a quite engaging raconteur. We enjoyed seeing the neighborhoods near the Rialto and getting to know the Venice away from the major tourist areas. Alessandro gave a lovely introduction to Venice history and told us general and detailed information. One of us has a degenerative brain disease and has trouble with high stimulation situations. He was understanding of our need to go slow and stay out of crowds as much as possible. We saw the living Venice and had a lovely time. Getting to know the quieter Venice

Allessandro was an excellent guide for us in Venice! He was extremely knowledgeable about the cities vast history. We found it all to be fascinating! We spent 3 hours with him but could have easily spent an entire day. We appreciated additional inside scoop regarding the best gelato and local restaurants. They did not disappoint! Thank you 5 Star guide!!!!

This was a fantastic tour, and Alessandro was a brilliant guide. Terrific to hear so much about the rich history of Venice tied in with informative and amusing side trips along many secrets and curiosities. Alessandro was so generous with his time and knowledge, and the finish at a local bar was cream on the cake of a fabulous afternoon’s adventure. Highly recommended.A gem of a tour

I booked a three hour walking tour with Alessandro for out first afternoon in Venice and I’m soooo glad I did. Alessandro met us in St. Mark’s Square and provided my husband and me —along with our young adult children— with an introduction to the history of Venice, an understanding of the basilica and Doge’s palace, the clock tower and bell tower, before we set off walking and learning all about Venice as we stopped into shops, admired historically important facades… We finished up by sampling chichetti and having glasses of Prosecco. Alessandro possesses a wealth of knowledge which he shared with enthusiasm. He welcomed questions. His communication skills were excellent. He texted a couple days ahead to confirm our meeting spot. We’ve been traveling through Europe with our kids since they were toddlers and they said Alessandro was the best tour guide we’ve had. Highly recommend.Perfect First Day in Venice

Alessandro is so enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. His deep expertise shines through with every story he tells and every place he shows you. Being a local, Alessandro knows all the backstreets and hidden gems. We even grabbed a snack and drink together in a local watering hole. Alessandro is a local and license tour guide who is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Venice that it made this experience very enjoyable. He gave us more that enough recommendations for places to eat and things to do that were off the beaten path And away from tourist traps. A tour with him will give you a good set up for the rest of your time in Venice ! Thank you!!Excellent way to start our trip to Venice
