We spent our second day in Lisbon with Ana Paula, and she was absolutely wonderful. Her deep local knowledge and strong community roots made the tour feel authentic and personal, giving us a true sense of Lisbon beyond the main tourist paths. She guided us through Alfama and beyond, sharing history with passion while leading us to hidden corners and stories we would never have discovered on our own. From breathtaking views at specific locations, each stop came alive through her storytelling. One of the highlights was visiting artisan shops and Cerâmica D’Alfama, a wonderful gallery run by two talented women artists. These stops gave us a deeper appreciation for Lisbon’s creative spirit and the people keeping its traditions and culture vibrant. Ana Paula’s warmth, connections, and insight gave us an experience rooted in the real Lisbon. If you want to see the city through the eyes of someone who loves its history, supports its community, and celebrates its artists, we can’t recommend Ana Paula enough. Ana Paula is a delightful guide full of energy. We had generous servings of a variety of foods and wines. Ana knows the neighborhoods well and is on great terms with the restaurant proprietors. She is friendly and shared a lot of interesting information. You will love de natas and all the other amazing foods of Lisbon!Excellent Food and Commentary

I booked a private half day tour several weeks before we arrived in Lisbon. Ana was our guide and she promptly met us at our hotel for a walking tour of Lisbon. Ana was extremely knowledgeable and started us off with a Funicular ride near the hotel. We saw St. Roch Cathedral and the amazing sites in the area. Lunch was phenomenal at Bairro do Avillez which is not to be missed. The views of Lisbon from this area give you a great appreciation of the architecture and ocean. Ana was very understanding and tailored the tour to our preferences. I had several chats with her before which I highly recommend when booking a private tour. Lisbon is very hilly so you need to be in decent shape. Overall I highly recommend Ana if you decide on a private tour. She is friendly and very passionate about Lisbon. Ana was very engaging, funny, knowledgeable and down to earth. We felt like she was part of the family by the time our tour was over. Ana also adjusted the pace to accommodate one in our family that had sprained their ankle. Highly recommend Ana if you’re in Lisbon! Thank you Ana!!!!Awesome time with Ana!!

We had a great tour with Ana. She was really enthusiastic, warm and knowledgeable. We went the first day we arrived in Lisbon and I feel like I had learned about the history of Portugal and Lisbon and got my bearings in the city to help us for the rest of our stay. If you are in Lisbon for a short period then you must book a tour with locals, Ana our guide today was excellent, very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun to be with, Ana showed us all the historical sites, hidden gems , and we learnt so much about Portugals history. Ana was a professional tour guide, with an extreme information about Portugal in her head. She could talk about every little piece of a church or a building. And you can get closer to history and life of Portugal. She was really kind and friendly. Altgough she is not the best choice if you just want to feel the athmosphere of the city and walking around beautiful places and get an impression from Lisbon life today.History with a lot of smile

We did a 3h intro to Lisbon tour with Ana. She was very articulate and friendly. She shared her large breadth of knowledge about Portuguese history, literature and culture with enthusiasm and energy. This background helped us appreciate and enjoy the rest of our Portugal experience. Ana is a great guide.

Ana Paula was great, fun nice and extremely knowledgeable. We were quite a broad group (2 adults 2 x kinds in their 20s) but she managed to pitch her tour exactly right with an excellent mix of art, hidden gems and history. We have already recommended her to other friendsAna Paula was GREAT
