I was born and raised in Lisbon and must warn you that I have an ongoing romance with this small but vibrant city.

On my tours, I'll share both its history and current happenings. I have a background in law and journalism, but walking around town and introducing new people to these old streets is what I love to do most :)

When I'm not doing tours, I can be found either rock climbing, drawing, or trying my best to stay on tempo on my guitar.

Ana is a well rounded professional guide with a cosmopolitan outlook grounded in Lisbon history. Her presenceful orientation adds to being a globally warm and welcoming host. She knows Alfama, Bairro Alto, Praco do Comercio and the churches and royal history on the back of her palms. Her knowledge of Portugese literature and bookstore collections is only rivaled by her knowledge of ginginha cherry and intergenerational festival preferences across Lisbon.A compact tour with power

Ana gave us the best experience around Lisbon. She shared so may interesting things about not just history, but also about the evolution of the country and the culture. The visit to Mantegueiras for an original Pastel de Nata was fabulous. And visiting the oldest bookstore in Portugal and learning about some of the most important authors in Portugal was a treat. Ana, thanks you. You were awesome and added so much to our visit!Excepcional!!

Ana is incredible! We spent 3 hours with her walking the streets of Lisbon and learning a great deal about the amazing history and culture of my new favorite European city. Her passion for the history of Lisbon and Portugal were infectious. We had such a great time that my wife asked if we could do another tour but unfortunately we had already made plans for the next day. Ana even recommended places to eat that were off the beaten path so to speak. We tried two of them and must say that her recommendations were perfect. We did the tour with my two daughters who are 11 and 13, and they both enjoyed Ana’s personality and wealth of information. I would suggest that anyone going to Lisbon book a walking tour with AnaAmazing!
