I was born and raised in Budapest and every corner of the city reminds me of something awesome. With a degree in international relations, I left Hungary for almost ten years and travelled around the world working for the UN and other development agencies.

I started guiding travellers in Budapest because I enjoyed showing my foreign friends around. This way I feel more connected to some of the historical sites and can enjoy explaining the complexity of the city and the Hungarians to everyone interested. My passion is politics and there is a lot to talk about from a historical perspective.

We very much enjoyed our food tour with Andras. He was very engaging and an Interesting person to chat to and offered us lots of tasty local bites to try. Would definitely recommend 👍Worth doing!

Spent 5.5 hours in company of delightful Andras. His English was remarkably good and we learnt so much about his beloved city. The time flew. Thanks to him we feel well orientated and well-informed about this central European jewel. Heartily recommend Andras. Brilliantly informative tour of Budapest

Andras was a wonderful guide and took us to 2 good places to eat. The 3rd was a wine shop and he did purchase a bottle of wine for us plus we purchased a few of our own. We really thought we would have a bit to eat at lots of different places and not a lot at just 2 places. Quite expensive tour for what we gotFun tour but not worth the price.

We arrived in Budapest without knowing more than the basic information about it. We only had two days in Budapest and we decided to make the most of our tour so we hired Andras for 5 hours which wound up being closer to 5 1/2 hours. He loved every minute. Andras is truly a local. He was born and raised in Budapest. He is very knowledgeable, energetic and friendly. He was able to read us pretty well and took us to all the interesting places and then some. We were very happy with our experience. Great introduction to Budapest

My daughter and I loved our time with Andras. He was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Hungary and eager to share his knowledge with us. He took us to three stops, each one was a unique experience. His wine choices were excellent. Andras was easy going and fun to talk to. We would definitely recommend touring with him. Andras was a very in formative guide during our walk through the castle district. He was easy to talk to and readily shared his knowledge about the area and other aspects of life in Budapest. Thanks for a great morning out! It is so much better to be on a private tour than on a large group tour. A wonderful walk

Andras took us on an interesting tour that showed contrasts of the old and newer more popular parts of Budapest. He is so knowledgeable and really fitted the experience around what our interests were. We loved it and learned lots about the country and its people. Budapest is busy with traffic but we felt safe following Andras along the roads and cycle paths. We’re all in our fifties and haven’t cycled for years but it’s made us keen to start cycling again! Brilliant tour
