Since a little kid my teachers told me that i should be a tour guide, being versetile and speak the languages. But when was time to go to college, many were my interests, so i chose Political Sciences. It was a great course, but not for me. After leaving college i started to do many diferent jobs, from post office to construction, to work in tolls. One day out of the blue, a job in tourism just came to me, and i said yes, of course.

I had courses and classes with one of the best official guides of Portugal, and started doing tours all over the country.

Nowadays 6 years later i have my own business, my customers and i do other countries as well.

We had a wonderful experience with André on our tour to Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. André was extremely knowledful and shared many personal stories related to the towns. He provided us with interesting information about every city as well as historical facts on Portugal. André was very friendly, helpful and provided us with options as we made our way through each town. We had an amazing lunch at Reguengo do Fetal which Andre organized ahead of time. We look forward to a future visit to Portugal and having the opportunity to once again tour with André as he was FABULOUS!Fatima, Nazare and Obidos

From the beginning of the tour , we felt welcomed into his family, the Portuguese family. His awesome, spacious van will get you to your destination in style and comfort (and it’s great for families!). He is warm, wonderful to chat with, and knows his stuff. Our group of three wanted to enjoy Nazare and Obidos at our own pace, without the feeling we were being herded through the sites, as is necessary with so many of the larger tours. We chose Andre as our guide and we were rewarded with a spectacular day filled with beautiful views, historical insight, and enthusiastic conversation from a guide whose pride in his country is apparent. Andre even shared with us the less visited town of Peniche, and it's truly breathtaking shoreline of cliffs and crashing waves, not to mention a fabulous restaurant where we enjoyed one of our most favorite authentic Portuguese meals of our entire trip. We expressed our love of the ceramic tiles we've seen throughout Portugal, so Andre took us to a shop where we were able to purchase handcrafted tiles and meet the artesian who created them. I will also mention that I suffer from MS and walk with a cane, and Andre's thoughtful consideration for how to best navigate any challenges that came up, made it possible for me to enjoy the same tour as my companions. We simply could not have asked for a better guide than Andre, or a more perfect day. A beautiful day in Nazare

Our tour with Andre’ was the highlight of our visit to Portugal. It was obvious from the start that he genuinely wanted to ensure that we had a wonderful and memorable experience! He was warm, kind and very easy to get along with. He brought a booster seat for our 6 year old which was perfect because we had forgotten ours. His vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. We learned so many interesting and amazing things about the history of each site we visited. He connected with each member of our family and was very attentive making sure we were all engaged and having a good time. There is so much more I could say but I will sum it up by saying we HIGHLY recommend Andre’ to anyone who wants to explore Portugal and learn all the nuances and special things about it from a local with a great passion and love for his beautiful country! Thank you Andre’!!!The absolute perfect tour guide for our family of 6!

My wife and I are moving to Portugal in 3 months. We were in Lisbon to meet with our immigration team and wanted to see Sintra and Cascias. We hired Andre, and the experience was phenomenal! Andre picked us up from our hotel, on time, and the day was outstanding. Andre knows all there is to know about the palaces, the history, the culture. This is his country, and he is proud to share the exquisite beauty with you. We went places that the public doesn't see, we ate lunch at a small owner operated diner that was great food, and company. Conversing with the owner/chef and hearing her story made you glad you gave her your business. We will be hiring our friend Andre again and again as family and friends come visit us in our new home, and Andre will be our guy to see the whole country of Portugal. Thanks Andre for an outstanding day in your country, we'll see you again!Andre is the ultimate professional

arrived on time with clean comfortable van. he is extremely knowledgeable and did a great job of reading our cues. If we were feeling spry the pace was quick, if we dragged he slowed up for us. He spoke eloquently on the history but did not drone on. We could think and soak in the sights but he was quick to answer whatever questions we had. He was extremely personable. He was flexible and would change up the trip to suit our needs at a moments notice. He is well respected by his peers and had great recommendations on different places to eat. All in all a great experience and I could not recommend Andre any higher. would go with him for any tours that he offers.Great experience

From the moment Andre picked us up in his very comfortable car, to the moment he dropped us off we had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Andre really made our trip to Sintra that much better because he was so friendly and knowledgeable and his English was excellent. An unforgettable experience.A fabulous day with a fabulous guide!

Andre, our tour guide, is absolutely amazing and made this a memorable day in Lisbon and Sintra. We booked a full day with Andre and the entire experience was first-class and professional. There are many reasons we were so impressed with him and our tour. Here are a few... First, he was always responsive, kind and gracious. He is very knowledgable about every topic we wanted to learn about such as history, food, sports, agriculture, and culture. He was never boring or gave us too much information that we didn't want. He was also very flexible and accommodating to our interests and modified the day's activities to find the perfect balance of sights in several parts of Lisbon and Sintra including castles, picture spots, great food, shopping and some history. He spoke incredible English with clear diction and deep resonant voice we could clearly hear and understand. He was always attentive to safety but never overbearing or distracting from the tour. This was important to us since this is our first trip since COVID and we felt very conformable and safe throughout. The transport was in a very comfortable Mercedes van with big windows to see the sights. Finally, Andre's love and pride for his hometown and country is evident and made this tour one of the best experiences we have had in our travels. Andre was very personable and knowledgeable about the places we toured. He gave us enough information without overwhelming us. He was good about showing us photo spots which were necessary for the article that I'm writing and shooting photos for. He was accommodating when we left a jacket in his van and he returned it to us the next day. I highly recommend Andre. Sintra Tour
