The experince with Andre's was like you touring the city with your local friend. He arrange the route as per your preference points and goes with your pace, sharing history, story and recommendation along the tour. On top of sharing the best photo spot, Andre take a good photo for memories as well.Lovely experience

The best part of this guided tour was seeing the back streets of Porto seldom experienced by tourists. The history provided valuable context. Not sure if the contemporary perspective, was unintentionally biased ? Explore unseen Porto

Porto's history is fascinating - did you know that the Romans established a settlement in the area, calling it Portus Cale? The settlement eventually gave its name to the city, and by extension, to the country we know as Portugal. Neither did we! But thanks to the wonderful time we spent with Andre, a medieval historian, we learned so much that explains why Porto is such an intriguing city - and hard to describe in a single sentence!- as we wandered through the old town's twisty laneways and explored neighbourhoods we would never have discovered on our own. Andre was a great guide full of knowledge and passion towards his beloved Porto and its history and culture. We were taken back in time at every corner.
