I moved to the Netherlands more than nine years ago to pursue my education and started a PhD research at the University of Amsterdam. As an art historian and curator of exhibitions, I appreciate Amsterdam's rich history, vibrant art scene, and exceptional architecture. I am also fond of exploring lesser-known areas both within and outside the city.

Anna is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. We had a simple request—to see the city and learn about its history—and she delivered beyond our expectations. She took us through the main sights and shared historical insights, including lesser-known facts that made the experience even more special. Anna was always approachable and could answer any question we had. A nice touch was when she treated us to a delicious local specialty. Anna was an outstanding guide for the two museums. She was very knowledgeable and informative with many details. The extra pictures on her IPad were an excellent resource to show comparative analysis of different aspects. Anna was lovely to spend time with. She was very knowledgeable about the city and the art museums we visited with her. We had two different tours on the same day with a break in between. We were only in Amsterdam for one full day and made the most of it with Anna. We could never have found, enjoyed and understood the city in a day by ourselves. She made sure to cover alot of ground in alot of different venues. We did the Van Gogh museum, The Rijksmuseum and a city tour. I would not hesitate to recommend Anna. A lovely day in Amsterdam with Anna

She was warm and full of great stories about Amsterdam. Enthusiastic about showing off that region. The fact that she has an outside view is a plus, while having that surprising capacity of bringing inside information. When asked questions, she would go much deeper and be very generous with details, with a fresh and humble way. She is very sensitive to making sure we are delighted. After living 25 years in t n Netherlands, my friend whine I was with said he learned a lot. And appreciated it. We highly recommend her. Delighted & filled with Amsterdam stories

We had the chance to visit the Rijksmuseum with three young adults. This tour was organized “last minute” but very efficiently by Anna. Her expertise helped us to understand the significance of each piece, providing insights that we wouldn’t have grasped on our own. Their ability to connect the art to broader historical and cultural themes was very useful . Moreover, Anna was very approachable, encouraging questions and discussions, which made the tour feel more like a dynamic conversation than a lecture.Last minute visit

Anna was thoroughly amazing. She agreed to meet us early and even went above and beyond and took us all the way through the train station to the ferry so we wouldn't miss our river Cruise. Without her we would have. Her knowledge of Amsterdam, the history of Amsterdam and all the special hidden and unbidden places was remarkable. We were amazed by the beauty and practicality of the Dutch. If you are visiting Amsterdam Anna is worth every penny!!! She even recommended the best Indonesian Restaurant and sent a walking Google link after the tour finished so we could get there easily from our hotel. Our tour of the Rijksmuseum was made all the better with our knowledgeable local guide, Anna. She is currently pushing her Ph.D in art history and couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and prepared. We had great communication with her and she was interested in making sure we were able to see the art that interested us most. We highly recommend her.Really Interesting and Informative

My personal guided tour of the Van Gogh museum with Anna was fabulous. She told me so much about Vincent's life. The tour was at an easy pace. She is a very pleasant lady. Also, she was easy to work with in the planning of this tour.Anna is great!
