I grew up in a village just outside of Amsterdam and moved to the city when I was 18 to study social sciences and european studies. I loved living here; especially all the fine culture that this city has to offer. After graduating from the University of Amsterdam I spent some time working in a great variety of fields such as science, music, spirituality and art, which eventually led me into tour guiding. This allows me to share my knowledge of the city and it's culture with other people. Currently, most of the tours I conduct are about art and history.

Anna was an excellent guide from the beginning. She smiled brightly as we met and started telling us interesting historical facts about Amsterdam. The kind of information you wouldn't get without such an experienced guide. In the end, she helped me book a beautiful boat tour. I can't thank her enough. Nice tour

Anna has been an absolute delight! She tailored a perfect 1.5 hours walking tour for my manager and her team (despite 1.5 hours being very short!). The whole group really loved and enjoyed the tour and Anna really made a great effort to get to know the people attending to the tour and understand their interests. Our morning with Anna at the Van Gough museum, surpassed all of our expectations. We came away with a strong understanding of the man and his art. She really brought him to life for us. She had great antidotes to share and was extremely knowledgeable about both the history and the art. Brilliant storyteller!

We had the most excellent tour with Anna. She was extremely knowledgable about art and Van Goghus. Anna greatly improved our understanding of the history of Vincent, Theo and his family and how his artistic style developed but as well how this fit into the art world at the time and now. Anna made this incredible museum and art come to life. Anna was fantastic.Fantastic Van Gogh museum visit
