I was born and raised in Dublin where I have lived all of my life except for a soujourn in my young adult life building bridges and viaducts in Asia.

I cherish childhood memories of my native city, Dublin, whose social and cultural history resonate with me. I love to share these insights and stories with visiting guests. I am a lover of the outdoors, a qualified tour guide, bi-lingual in Irish and English. I have a variety of interests from sport to bridge building, from place names to hillwalking.

I've been guiding tours for more than five years, using various transport modes; buses, trains, walking, hiking, cycling: in a variety of off the beaten path locations; from the mountains to the sea, from the city to the countryside.

I'm an easy going "Jack of All Trades Master of None" type and I can tailor any tour to your own personal preferences.

Ben was our first choice to walk with a few hours after we arrived from Chicago. We desired someone interesting that could keep us awake . We had a memorable few hours together and loved every minute . Ben is a good listener, knowledgeable and interesting. We highly recommend Ben Walking Tour on Artivwl Day!

We did th Dublin City centre tour with Ben yesterday. We were a group of three retirees. My self John (Irish) and my two friends of 40 years Brett and Penney originally from South Africa but now living in Australia. The three of us have traveled extensively and have been on numerous tours but as Brett said “this tour was right up there at the top” Ben was patient, very knowledgeable, organised, humorous and had lots of interesting facts and funny little stories about the various places we visited. Ben was such a great tour guide for our first day in Dublin! He was incredibly knowledgeable and catered the tour as we asked questions and showed different interests. The walking video was the best part! I don't know why they don't all do it, but I wouldn't hesitate booking with him again 🍀Totally worth the money!

We had such a blast on Ben’s tour! He curated such a beautiful route with views and fun bits of history. He was incredibly responsive and accommodating when there were last minute changes to our group as well. 10/10 would recommend this tour or any that Ben runs! Perfect Day Tour

Our group of 3 had a great tour with Ben in the afternoon. Lots of great stories and interesting history. Lots of suggestions and recommendations shared by Ben which were much appreciated.
