In the interim after exchange years, endless years at university and as history teacher in Vancouver as well as here, my passion for telling my story as a child of PET, the Cold War, the optimistic 90s and beyond will ensure your trip to Berlin takes on an unforgettable dimension.

Boyd gave an amazing tour! He was able to point out so many cool parts of the east side of Berlin that have survived the wars and recommended many other things to see during my trip to the city. Would highly recommend this tour! Thanks Boyd :)A wonderful tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Boyd through the streets of Berlin. He was a wealth of knowledge and a World War II history buff. So we fit right in. We asked him to show us how the trains work and how to get from point A to point B. We learned a lot from our walks amongst historical sites and monuments. We ended up at a food hall that had some of the best pasta ever tasted. Who knew? so thanks again, Boyd and we’ll see you when we pass through here again. Lee & Kathy Our Tour with Boyd

Boyd hat uns 4h durch Berlin geführt und mit Informationen und besonderen Geschichten/ Anekdoten zum staunen, lachen und nachdenken gebracht. Obwohl es eiskalt war war die Tour kurzweilig und spannend und Boyd ein charmanter, sympathischer und sehr kluger Guide. Klasse war’s! Danke BoydInformativ und lustig

We had an amazing experience with Boyd. He very kindly met us at Hotel Oderberger and we then spent a pleasurable few hours immersing ourselves in the history of Berlin. Boyd was very knowledgable and we would highly recommend using him. It was a fantastic tour. Great introduction to Berlin

We opted for Boyd for his background as history teacher and we wanted to see other parts of Berlin than the usual highlights. Well, we couldn’t have wished for anything better. We had a really great bike tour in the S/ SE part of the center of Berlin. Along the way Boyd shared his impressive knowledge of Berlin’s history, architecture, political past, etc. and we appreciated the ample time he gave us for a very pleasant interactive Q&A every time we halted a yet another interesting site. We were so happy to have spent the whole day with Boyd. When booked I felt that we would connect with him and we did. A fabulous day biking through Berlin. We traveled many boroughs and learnt about the culture and history and people of Berlin amongst lots of other things. Boyd has so much knowledge about all things Berlin and beyond.
