Hello everyone! My name is Carlos Hernan. I've lived in Paris for the past 19 years. I went to music school in the US. In Paris, the most beautiful city in the world, I give recitals with my piano compositions. I love French culture and I am passionate about history. My surroundings inspire me constantly. I frequently go to the opera, art exhibitions and other cultural events. I love a good meal with a glass of red wine. Always happy to meet new people, I enjoy very much a good conversation especially if it's about history, music or art. I speak four languages fluently: French, English, Spanish and Italian. With you I will share all that I know about the local history and many anecdotes that will make our tour a very unique experience.

El tour con Carlos fue excelente y muy divertido. Carlos fue muy atento y nos llevó por lugares que solo un parisian conoce. Se adaptó a mi pasión por la historia y al ritmo de mi esposo también ! Su conocimiento e historias locales sobre la magia que tiene esta ciudad fueron inigualables. Carlos tiene una personalidad muy atenta con un espíritu especial y relajado. Le apasiona lo que hace y nos dio recomendaciones sobre lugares, restaurantes y tips en nuestra primera visita a Paris. De seguro Volveré a contactar a Carlos en nuestra próxima visita! Carlos was absolutely incredible! Extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind. Our exploration of the Marais was well balanced with history, food, shopping, and “insider” tips.Excellent tour

We had gotten to Paris and it was beautiful and all but it still felt dull. Carlo’s did a great job of bringing the city to life through its rich and long history. He was so kind and you can tell he was so passionate about what he was doing. When we got there , he was our tour guide. By the end of the night , we felt like we had made a new lifelong friend. Carlos was a wonderful guide and took us to every place on our wish list in a very relaxed stroll over about 3 hours. We saw a couple of things we would have never seen and his calm, relaxed manner made our first morning in Paris a lovely one. Lots of walking but if you're prepared for that I would high recommend this option and Carlos. Thank you so much Wondeful walk through Paris

Carlos was very informative and his knowledge of the city is excellent. He is very friendly and completely made my tour when he took me by the place where Emily in Paris was filmed. great guide

Carlos did an excellent job of showing us very interesting and often off the beaten path historical sites. He was full of great information, making our tour a fun learning experience. It was definitely worth having someone with his knowledge to show us around. Great tour

My friend and I from California spent two and a half hours with Carlos walking around the Marais in Paris. He was so informative, responsive to our questions and customized the tour just for our interest. I highly recommend a tour with Carlos!

We took the 2.5 hour Walking Tour of Le Marais w/ Carlos Hernan. We arrived 10 minutes late (apologies again, Carlos!) and you simply could not ask for a more patient, knowledgeable, enjoyable guide than Carlos. No matter what small thing we pointed at “what’s that?” “what’s that?” “what’s that?” Carlos enthusiastically answered each question with a real depth of knowledge. I have no idea how, but Carlos exudes/creates a bubble of soothing zen calmness in what can be, at times, a slightly chaotic area of Paris, and that aspect boosted the overall experience (which was already great). Carlos was a joy!
