Hey there! Ça va? :)

My name is Clau, I'm a versatile actress and translator-interpreter in English and French. I love performing arts, which is what I do when I have the time, working for two theater companies.

I have lived in Ireland, England, Canada and France. Once you have traveled that much you develop a sense of discovering places and look at them with a different approach as well as a great deal of empathy. Having some experience of touring in Santiago as a host with French couples I took an interesting course in interpreting Chilean cultural heritage which gave me some new tools on how to tell a story about a particular place or moment from what perspective in particular... it is so interesting the exchange of different views about the same point!

Finally, I live in the core area where Santiago was founded so I have some local tips to be shared!!! ;)

We spent 3 hours with Claudia who guided us in Santiago in French. Claudia knows every details of this city and it is worth to hear the stories from a local guide. It gives you to taste the city from its inside and with the historic background. Claudia makes it fun and interesting at the same time. Perfect guide that I deeply recommend. Wonderful visit with a passionate guide

Claudia is very knowledgeable and she doesn’t just give you the historical story but includes recent discoveries, and opposing opinions. I felt much more informed about Chilean history and Santiago after the tour and had a few good laughs with Claudia. The only reason I don’t give it full marks is because the tour could have been a bit more personalised - especially the first hour that we spent on the same square.Great guide. It was a great experience. Claudia is a fantastic source of knowledge about Santiago’s history, its past and present and its little, and not so little, secrets. I learnt more about the city and the country in these three hours than I had about other places in days! What I liked in particular about Claudia is her energy, enthusiasm and obvious love for her country which she shares in a very entertaining manner. Thank you Claudia. We had three private tour guides on our South American vacation and Claudia was far and away the best one, perhaps the best we ever had. Her knowledge was extensive and she speaks perfect English. We had a little trepidation about Santiago, but she was great and showed us a lot of very interesting sites. We wholeheartedly recommend her!Claudia was absolutely the best!
