I'm 67 and I've played championship level chess, translated scores of books (history, art, humanities, essays, some literature), sung. I ride a bike through Athens since decades; I like learning new languages, modern and ancient.
I'm a licensed lecturer guide for all of Greece, a graduate of the Law Faculty (Department of Public Law and Political Science), Athens University (NKUA) and of the Faculty of Philology (Department of Linguistics), NKUA. My language skills have never disappointed anyone.

Arranging the experience and meeting with Costas was really easy. Costas is friendly, approachable and very knowledgable…also has several languages under his belt! The tour of the museum was fascinating and we all learned a great deal. The walk up through the grounds, the information shared, the explanations offered from stories of the gods to how structures were created as we moved up to the Parthenon. Truly amazing, thank you! Costas was quick in his responses to my questions before arrival. Made it very clear how/when to book our entry tickets and was able to adjust timing as our plans changed. The tour itself was very enjoyable. His knowledge of the history of Athens and the Acropolis was vast but we never felt lectured to. He made the stories interesting while still being educational. He was very personable. Perfect guide for history enthusiasts.

Costa was great and very informed about the area and its surroundings. It was nice to purchase the tickets in advance, skip a bunch of the lines, and see more of Athens. It was a great tour with a lot of great information. Excellent tour and well informed.

Costas was very easy to communicate with before the tour; he met us promptly at our prearranged meeting point.
The tour of the Acropolis included an initial 2hrs in the Acropolis Museum, during which Costas took us through the history of the site and proved to be incredibly well informed on every aspect; he then took us up on to the slopes of the Acropolis for an hour to show us the real thing. Both parts of the tour knitted together perfectly and we left with a feeling that we had been fully immersed in Greek and Athenian history.

From the first professional interaction via Chat to the final information on the Acropolis, the tour of both Acropolis museum and sacred rock were fantastic. Costas provided us with key information about the art, history and social aspects of living on or near the Acropolis. Our time in the museum was well spent learning about the stories behind the sculptures and important figures. Trop courte, notre visite matinale de 3 heures dans les rues d’Athènes en compagnie de Costas. La mythologie comme axe central, nous avons énormement apprécié les explications d’une personne passionnée et passionante. Nous avons découvert les contrastes de la ville ainsi que sa riche histoire, au travers de ses monuments et héritage culturel. Nous repartons avec une grande envie de revenir ! Great person to lead you through a walk back into Ancient Greek history and the sights before your eyes. Very friendly and interactive and gave us an appreciation we would never have achieved on our own. Would recommend him to anyone.Friendly Knowledgeable Accommodating
