I have a master's degree in the Restoration of Historical textiles and a bachelor's degree in History of Adriatic and Mediterranean so we can safely say I like history and textiles. Through my studies, I developed a taste for Historical Anthropology and lives of ordinary people whose stories opened the window to extraordinary events. I also learned to appreciate material remnants of the past which speak volumes of their owner's histories, but in their fragility, are often underappreciated. Both of these passions came together in my activities as a tourist guide, which I have been for the past 13 years.

Danijeli was perfect- just the right amount of history, architectural facts, stories, etc. She speaks English perfectly so everyone could understand her and she was able to pick up on our interests and expand on those areas. The hours spent with Danijela were the best part of our trip to Dubrovnik. She is an excellent guide and a very very nice person. She knows not only a lot of historical facts and interesting details about the city’s history but she manages to connect you with the places and the events. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. We had an excellent tour and explanation of the Old Town of Dubrovnik with Danijela as our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, and pleasant and was able to explain many things to us about the history of the city. Our time with her was well spent. An afternoon with Danijela.
