Hello dear travellers visiting Croatia, welcome to Split! :)

Split is the city where I was raised and where I came back after finishing a master’s degree in History and the Portuguese language at the University of Zagreb. So yes, the city of Split that grew from an ancient Roman emperor's palace, to me it’s not a popular tourist destination, it’s my HOME. As a passionate traveller myself and a local tour guide, my mission here is to transfer a good vibe, excitement, as well as the passion and love I feel for my home onto you. Also, through using all the senses in discovering the city with me, I want to make you feel peace and calm. That kind of peace and calm that dear friends, the warmth of the sun, and sweetness in your belly can bring.

After teaching history in high school for a while, eight years ago I became a licensed full-time tour guide and tour leader. Since then, I have hosted different kinds of tours for guests from all over the world. I love to share my knowledge and experiences with the guests, but also love to listen, engage, and learn from them. Besides history, my great passion is music and I am always willing to discuss both of them over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Join me on this adventure, learn about the past, feel the present, and prepare to unexpectedly fall in love with Split, because the unexpected is usually what brings the unbelievable.

Dubravka gave us history and unique personal anecdotes in addition to taking us to wonderful food spots! She told us the history of each food item. We would not have picked these places without her and it was all delicious! I also appreciated that she tailored the tour to our wishes and was very flexible about meeting time and locations! Great food with a true local!

Dubravka was absolutely amazing! Her historical knowledge is impressive and she was able to provide my husband and I with great recommendations for the rest of the trip. The food portion of the tour was one of a kind! She took us to sample local dishes that we have never tried before and every dish we tried we loved! Come hungry because there are so many amazing dishes to try! This tour was definitely the highlight of our time in Split. Highly recommend booking with Dubravka if you want a memorable experience! If you’re in Split and thinking about doing a food tour—stop thinking and book it with Dubravka! From the very first bite to the final sip, this tour was an absolute highlight of our trip. Dubravka is everything you could want in a guide—funny, passionate, full of stories, and she knows all the best hidden gems that we would have completely missed on our own. We ate, we laughed, we learned about the city’s rich history, and—most importantly—we ate some more. Every stop was better than the last, and we left not only full but feeling like locals. This wasn’t just a tour, it was like being shown around by a friend who happens to be a foodie and a total Split expert. Dubravka made this food tour super special and very memorable. It was the highlight of our time in Split. She did the extra touches that made it not just a typical food tour. The many food stops were all excellent with an amazing restaurant at the end of the evening. Lastly, Dubravka shared many personal stories, interesting food history and good humor. The tour was amazing from start to finish. Dube is well versed in history and gave us an amazing overview. This was especially helpful as it was our first day in Croatia. The tour focused on street food and introduced us to items we might not otherwise have run across or tried. The portions were generous, and we were very full at the end. Since it was a private tour, we were able to have many questions answered and we also enjoyed getting to know Dube and hear her story. I very highly recommend.Best food tour we have taken anywhere

Dubravka was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and Croatia, she was funny and charming and kept our family entertained while feeding us the most wonderful dishes! We couldn’t have asked for more, I would highly recommend this tour and Dubravka! Fantastic Host!

This tour was everything promised plus more. We did this tour on our last day in Split and wished we had done it on the first day. We discovered many hidden gems that we would have loved to have gone back to. It was great to be toured by a guide who was passionate about food and knowledgeable about the town, buildings and its history.Excellent Tour, by an enthusiastic guide
