Hello,

I am Eleni and I am native Athenian, I deeply love my city, its history and the complex contemporary life, I know every corner of it and its hidden gems, the sleepless city and night life, I will be more than glad to guide you and show you everything in the city. From an hour till the whole day be sure that you will have the most emotional experience in Athens!

I am interested in travelling, getting to know other cultures, playing Greek traditional bagpipe, showing travelers around Athens and Greece, meeting people, connecting them, organizing events and having lots of fun.

In the past years I have been volunteering in the Public Relations of ICOMOS (International Council of Monuments and Sites), which has turned into a part-time job. I have also organised numerous events on a voluntary and professional basis - meetings, conferences and music events.

After a series of life changing events I decided to follow my passion and start my own start up, being fully committed to promote the cultural heritage of Athens. I am still a member of ICOMOS and registered for Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau as Athens Destination Specialist (ADSP) and also a social entrepreneur.

Eleni lead my family, including 2 18 year olds and 2 16 year olds to see important and interesting places in the areas around the Acropolis and the plaka. She was knowledgeable and interesting and kept the whole group listening and going even after a very long day. At the end, she found us a couple of restaurants that might work and we ended our evening with a great dinner. I highly recommend touring with Eleni. Additionally, she is very flexible!Wonderful tour with knowledgeable guide

Overall the tour itself was just okay- a bit disappointing, actually. We were so excited about this tour and were really looking forward to the personalized and more intimate experience of hiring a tour guide from withlocals. I sent a message a month in advance to let our guide know a bit about us and our goals/interests for the tour and never heard back. I reached out again a couple days in advance through the website and finally heard back. However, when we were on the tour, it really didn’t seem like our guide read anything I wrote. The tour wasn’t personalized at all and honestly it lacked energy and enthusiasm. The time spent walking between locations was in silence whereas most tours I’ve been a part of the guide takes that time to tell stories or preface us with information for the next location we will be seeing. I will say, we definitely learned a lot about architecture and a little bit about the history of Athens and Athens’ occupiers which was so fascinating and I would have loved to learn more. I love history and hearing stories about past events, sadly, what history we did learn was spotty and disjointed which made it hard to put the pieces together. We enjoyed getting some lemonade near the foot of the Acropolis and hearing a bit more about our guide’s life and some details on modern Athens. I really don’t mean to be too harsh because our guide was a kind person but the tour wasn’t at all what we were expecting based on the descriptions on the website and the price.Athens Hidden Gems Tour

Eleni guided us on a nice, chill walk to some spots in Athens we would never have known to check out with great views. She also shared some interesting history on our walk. Nice morning tour

Sites we visited were great, little shop with honey and food were AWESOME. Very knowledgeable of the history of Greece , wish there was a little more mythology . Define worth it Had a great time

Our guide was certainly knowledgeable about history, however she lacked the ability to engage us and clearly communicate the stories behind the history Could be improved
