Hi everyone, my name is Eleonora. I am a certified tour guide and tour leader, born and raised in the beautiful province of Lecce. I love traveling and learning about other cultures, meeting new people and learning about their stories. My tours will give you the opportunity to appreciate the thousand faces of my magical land, not only history and culture, but also crafts, local food, festivities, ancient rites and millenary traditions.

What a great time we had eating our way around Lecce! Eleonora is very knowledgeable about the city and its past and knows all the best places to try its food! Come hungry as the portions are not small. It was a wonderful way to get to know the city and try things we wouldn’t have done otherwise. Definitely give it a go, you won’t be disappointed! Great way to explore the city

We had a great tour with Eleonora on a very hot day. We loved how she connected the food to the history of the town and its surroundings, that made it very special as we left with so much knowledge (and full bellies)! Eleonora had great connections with the locals so we really felt like get got the insider experience. Lovely tour of a beautiful town

Eleonora provides a unique experience tailored to the individual. Her passion and historical perspective provides a detailed overview of Lecce. I particularly enjoyed the walking portion that highlighted unique insights into the churches, restaurant scene, artisans, neighborhoods, and local stores. Her knowledge and familiarity of Lecce is comprehensive and personal. She was able to provide answers to all my individual questions with patience and thoroughness. Note: My rating on the pricing has to do with being a “single” client versus a group.Friendly and knowledgable

Eleonora was an outstanding guide for our three-hour gastronomical tour of Lecce. From the moment we met, she brought the city to life with her warmth, deep knowledge, and easygoing style. She led us through the best sites in the historic centre, providing information on Lecce’s history, culture, food, and architecture. Along the way, she introduced us to local food specialties and shared recommendations for where to eat over the next few weeks that we're here. Eleonora was absolutely wonderful! We were traveling as a family—my daughter, her husband, and our 18-month-old granddaughter—and Eleonora made everyone feel welcome and engaged. Her knowledge of Lecce was impressive, and her genuine love for the city truly shone through. She had a fantastic relationship with the local vendors, which made the experience feel authentic and special. We especially appreciated her warmth, friendliness, and insightful commentary throughout the tour. It was a beautiful and enriching day that we’ll always remember.

Unfortunately we chose a very hot afternoon for our city tour of Lecce with Eleanor’s, but this did not dampen her enthusiasm and her wealth of knowledge. She was very sympathetic to our needs and showed us the most iconic sites, explaining the history with humour and detail. We particularly enjoyed her rendition of a folk song in the paper mache model maker’s shop! Thank you, Eleonora! History in abundance!
