I work as a theatre teacher both in Italian and English in various public schools of Florence. Since 2008 I work as founder of the cultural association "Sconfinando" organizing workshops, walking tours, scavenger hunts, involving people of all ages from different neighborhoods and creating connections with students of foreign Universities. Every person can be a testimony, a special peace that composes the fresco of our City. Our projects intend to link different generations, memories and new visions regarding Florence which is not only Renaissance or what we expect from her but is a living complex fascinating mystery to explore.

We had a lovely tour of Florence with Elisabetta! From the very beginning, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. Her explanations were engaging and insightful, and we truly appreciated the interesting conversations we had along the way. She was absolutely wonderful with our 12-year-old — patient, kind, and creative in making the tour interactive and fun for him as well. It really made the experience special for our whole family. We had a wonderful time with Elizabetta exploring parts of Florence and eating wonderful food. It was more than the food though. She was a great companion and shared her knowledge of the city and its history. Would highly recommend this. Good Food and Great Guide

Our group of 4 felt privileged to have such exclusive access to local food and just to spend time with Elisabetta- a lovely person passionate about her city. Her English was excellent and she was real and down to earth. It was a nice chance for us to ask her questions about real day-to-day life in Florence. Would absolutely recommend!A chance to hang with & eat like a local

One of the experiences my wife and I were really looking forward to in Florence was this food tour. I have to tell you that whatever I was expecting was far exceeded by the experience provided by Elisabetta. The food was amazing but made even more so by the context and history she provided. We not only sampled some really amazing fare but we understood how the culture, economics and history of Florence shaped the food they enjoy today. Plus, it was just fun to hang with Elisabetta for a few hours. She was interesting and engaged and we couldn't have asked for a better host.Amazing Florence Food Tour

Elizabeth was a wonderful guide and showed us around the less touristy part of Florence. We enjoyed sampling the locals favorite foods and spend some time in the market. We tasted things that we wouldn’t have ordinarily tasted with her guidance. I’d highly recommend any tours with this company. It was an intimate tour with only the four of us and we learned so much! Wonderful intro to Florence!

I like that Elisabetta was able to tell the stories of Florentines from medieval times to contemporary history. She knew a lot about culture, food and neighborhood hidden gems. I have been to Florence countless times and Elisabetta was able to show me new things. I highly recommend!Better than most tours of Florence

Elizabetta is a wonderful foodie and it was fun to learn from her. We were able to be comfortable trying new foods on the rest of our trip because of her. Great guide!

Elisabetta was amazing. She not only delved into the food culture of Florence but its fascinating history too. She was an incredibly kind and Interactive guide and we had a wonderful time. Three hours flew by. I highly recommend her and her tour. Savouring Florence
