I am passionate about the history of Hungary and Budapest. I have been impressed by the majestic capital and the river Danube. I can't stand a day without seeing the enchanting Danube. I like working with people, so the best combination for me being tour guide in Budapest. Always it surprises me how beautiful this city is. Tourist guiding is not only my really profession (I am a licensed tourist guide) but my passion too. I am open-minded, friendly and get on well with people very easily. Since I live in a big family, I have also a great connection with children. Meeting new people from different parts of the world is the most fantastic thing that I can imagine. Our tour with Emoke was one of the true highlights of our time in Budapest. With her warm personality, deep local knowledge, and an eye for detail, she made the city come alive in a way no guidebook ever could. guided us through the city with ease and passion – from iconic landmarks like the Chain Bridge and the Great Synagogue to charming backstreets and hidden gems we’d never have discovered on our own. She didn’t just show us buildings – she shared the stories, history, and local culture behind them in a way that was engaging and personal. Her recommendations for food, sights, and cultural tips were spot-on and really enriched the rest of our stay. We had 2 day tours with Emoke for 4 hours each day to tour around the city of Budapest. We started at the Heroes Square where Emoke introduced the 14 kings and warriors with the sculptures enacted there. She gave us a great introduction of history to the rest of the tour. We enjoyed the two day tour with her. She was patient, and clearly knowledgeable about the ancient past of Hungary, Buda and Pest and also communist time and the period it was liberated. We thank Emoke for her dedication and she even forgot the time was up for the tour until I reminded her after almost 30min...Passionate about Badapest History

Emoke was lovely during our 3 hour tour of Buda Castle with the right balance interesting history and stories and a scavenger hunt type of game to keep the kids (11 year olds) engaged. Communication was great and very flexible to see what most interested us. Highly recommend! Wonderful Buda Castle Tour

We booked Emoke for a 5-hour tour of Budapest. It was our last day of a two week trip through Eastern Europe, so 5 hours might have been a bit too aggressive. Nonetheless, we hung in there with Emmy and were rewarded with an incredible amount of information, presented at a pace that allowed us to absorb it all. We had a prior excursion provided by our cruise company. We asked Emmy to plan our time together without repeating our previous itinerary. She did a great job, showing us some interesting parts of Budapest that helped us understand Hungary's complex and long history. We also appreciated that she didn't just leave us in the middle of a foreign city, but rather took us back to our hotel via the Metro and tram. Thanks for a great day, Emoke.Great history lesson

We recently took a 3 hour food tour around Budapest with Emoke. Our group of 4 adults loved the time we spent with her. She shared some history and culture of Budapest with us and we felt like we had a better knowledge of the city when we left her. All the food tastings were delicious and we appreciated getting to try so many local treats in a short time.We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Emoke!
