We had a fantastic experience with Eric. Our meeting spot was easy to find, and we began our tour by ascending to the rooftop bar of a nearby building, where we could see the whole of Brussels from above. Eric was truly a wealth of information. He is a native of Brussels who obviously loves his city and is eager to share its history and unique charm. Over the course of our 3-hour tour, we covered much of the central part of the city – all the major highlights, as well as a few “hidden gems” that were off the beaten path. And at every stop, Eric explained the history and significance of what we were seeing and thoughtfully answered all of our questions (and we had plenty). We especially appreciated his extensive knowledge of the demolition and reconstruction of many parts of the city that occurred throughout the centuries, and where the few remaining medieval sections were located. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Eric is amazing, and we will definitely book with him again on our next trip to Brussels – maybe even for a guided day trip to Bruges or Ghent. Our Tour of Brussels with Eric was fabulous! His knowledge of the city he calls home is amazing. We are history and architecture enthusiasts, and Eric explored and explained the highlights of Brussels to our complete satisfaction. He took us to areas hidden in plain sight, pointing out facts, symbols locations we surely would have missed! *** My only regret was not having him as our private guide in both Brugge and Ghent and I wish we had booked him for all our Belgium tours. He surpassed all of our expectations. Brussels is a remarkable city- and we will return one day soon and will happily seek out With Locals and Eric! We booked this tour at the last minute after another tour was cancelled, and we were so glad it worked out that way. Merci à Éric pour cette très belle visite de Bruxelles. Grâce à Eric, nous avons pu découvrir l’histoire de Bruxelles, la grande et la petite, ses lieux connus et moins connus, sans oublier là où manger les meilleurs frites. Eric is a true expert in Brussels. He has great insight, great wit and really listened to our questions and added in a new venue based on my love of Art Deco. The whole 3 hours with the added hidden gems was better than expected and I can’t thank him enough. Finished off with a cracking waffle! No hesitation in recommending him at all especially with this being my first visit to Brussels and I can’t wait to come back. A brilliantly insightful tour

Eric did a great job of showing us around expanding everything and showing us some items we would never have seen otherwise. He had very good descriptions about the chocolate and other foods. Great tour love learning new items

Eric’s chocolate tasting was the first item on the agenda in our first day in Brussels, and it was absolutely perfect. He has incredible knowledge that encompasses both the history of Brussels and the history of the fantastic chocolates we were eating. Our family got to know the city through a delicious means, and Eric was charming, accommodating, and flexible. He was great with our two kids while still keeping the material high-level, and was an excellent guide!10 out of 10!

Eric gets an 11 out of 10. He was prepared, knowledgeable, very pleasant to be with, and a great conversationalist. He communicated well before the meet-up regarding time and place. He was on time, was interested in what we wanted to see, and built an excellent walking tour for us. Our experience in Brussels was top-notch because of him. We recommend Eric without hesitation to anyone wanting, like us, to get to know the city for the first time.Eric is excellent. Look no further.

Eric was so knowledgeable about beers and the history of Brussels and Belgium that we couldn’t help but learning a great deal about his lovely birthplace whole having a great time! He showed us common and uncommon sites with a flare for storytelling. Highly recommend! Grest beer tour!
