I started dancing flamenco at a young age so pretty much dancing my while life but I started my professional flamencocareer in 1999 when I moved to Seville. I have studied with the best dancers for eight years, every day, and, as there is always something to learn, I still study from time to time. Flamenco is my life work and passion and I have shared many beautiful moments with people who travel to Seville, hosting shows, tours and classes. In 2001 I opened my studio, in 2004 I founded my company and I have been touring the world ever since. In 2012 I opened my own flamenco venue in seville, a very small stage where only 34 people fit in. To experience flamenco as it really should be: up-close and personal. I love to share my passion with travellers you really want to get to know the art, and enjoy some good tapas together

We really enjoyed our time with Maria. She is a great ambassador for Flamenco. She had many great stories and details about the history and tradition of the art form. We loved all of the delicious tapas that she chose for us. But of course the highlight of the evening was the Flamenco show in a wonderful, intimate setting. My sister and I will never forget the experience. Thank you Maria!Fabulous time!

Wir waren in einem kleinen Lokal, versteckt in triana. Erlebten dort eine sehr engagierte authentische Flamenco Vorstellung. Es gibt sicherlich perfektere Tänzer und Sänger, aber die Herzlichkeit dieser Aufführung ist sicherlich erlebenswert! Flamenco im alltag

Maria was a great and informative guide. Enjoyed learning the history of flamenco and the local area. She was an excellent performer as well. Really enjoyed the performance, it felt very personal and moving. The tapas bar were a great way to introduce us to the local culture and food scene. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants an a unique and personal experience.Intimate evening in Seville

I had an amazing time with Maria. I booked the course and show just for myself and had seen a Flamenco Show in Granada before. So when sharing her knowledge of Flamenco with me in the beginning, I had so many questions, Maria was patiently answering. After coffee we went to a dance studio and in her very enthusiastic and charming way, Maria taught me some Flamenco moves. With her very lovely and kind way; she made me feel very comfortable, altough I am not usually into dancing or very talented in it. But it was so much fun and I could have probably spend the rest of the night with her at the Studio practicing!
After, we went to see the Flamenco Show, which was absolutely fantastic and Maria explained interesting facts about the artists and show. We finished the night with a lovely dinner at a local tapas place. Thank you so much Maria! I had the best time and I do see the art of Flamenco with different eyes now! Wonderful Flamenco experience!

We had a wonderful evening with Maria. She gave us a great history of where and how flamingo dancing started over coffee. We then went to her studio where she showed us the basic techniques of flamingo and how the dancer, singer, and guitarist communicate with each other. We then had front row seats to watch the show. Highly recommend this experience!Fabulous Flamingo Experience

Maria was the best! Super knowledgeable about Flamenco and its origins, she was able to answer all our questions (and we had a lot!). I thought the evening might feel long, but the pacing was just right. I’m sure there are other guides who could tell you about Flamenco and bring you to a show, but Maria LIVED the history and she WAS the show, brava!Perfect evening!

What a great night with Maria! First, we met at a cafe and she told us about the history of Seville and of flamenco. Then we went to her studio and had our dance lesson, where we learned more about how the dance is sort-of an improvised conversation between the dancers, singer, and guitarist. After that, we went out for tapas and finally, we went to see Maria and her friends dance! I was so happy that we had the experience of learning the history and then the actual experience of the dance so that I understood it as we watched. Maria is a great teacher and a lot of fun!
