We had a fantastic time with Federico! He was so knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He even provided a fantastic tip to my husband about an antique market for a future time. We really appreciated his friendliness and thought the couple of hours spent with him was a great intro to the city to then explore more on our own. We started our tour in Old Town, which is a wonderful part of Barcelona. We visited a number of unique restaurants where we tasted an interesting assortment of Tapas. Federico chose a wonderful and diverse menu based on our preferences. The evening ended with a visit to the Chocolate shop where we tasted terrific sweets dipped in chocolate. Federico provided us with a very informative tour and chose fun and interesting establishments to visit. He was knowledgeable and answered many of our questions about the history of the area. Federico was a great host, very knowledgeable on local food, history and culture alike. The food was great and Federico adapted the tour based on restaurants we hadn’t been to before. Excellent!!

Three hours of history, art, economy and daily life notions. Time just flew in a blink of eyes. Federico was a very thoughtful pleasant guide, leading us through the treasuries of the narrow alleys of Barcelona. It was not our first time in Barcelona, but this time we could discover some hidden spots never seen before! Thanks Federico! See you next time! A pleasant and interesting stroll

Io e mio marito, siamo rimasti davvero molto soddisfatti della visita guidata con Federico, oltre ad essere stato molto professionale è stato molto disponibile, ci ha proposto diverse soluzioni con il tempo che avevamo a disposizione, ci ha raccontato un pò di storia sulle nascita della città di Barcellona e ci ha raccontato aneddoti che non avremmo mai imparato, è un’esperienza che ripeterei , e se tornerò a Barcellona, riprenderò questa guida per visitare quello che non sono riuscita a vedere in questa occasione, Grazie ancora Federico!!Un’esperienza supe positiva!!!!

We arrived in Barcelona mid-morning and by mid-afternoon we were enjoying our first taste of of tapas with Federico at the Mercy de Santa Caterina. Such a beautiful tile roof. We sat and enjoyed calamari, patatas bravas, and olives after declining the suggested tripe and / or snail soup. From there we went to La Plata for fried anchovies, tomato salad, and a sausage on pan tomato. Federico said we should try vermouth as it's a typical accompaniment to tapas. We had one more stop and enjoyed manchego, salami, and cooked sausages including chorizo and Iberico morcilla with cava. Following this we made one more stop at a panaderia for take out as we simply couldn't hold our 10th taste!Tapas in the afternoon.

We highly enjoyed our tour of Barcelona with Federico. He was very knowledge about the city and took us to many interesting and hidden gems. After his tour we had a real sense and feel for Barcelona - the history and the culture - and because of it had a better experience when enjoying all the amazing things this city has to offer.
