Hi there! :) it’s Federico, the funniest guide of the Venetian lagoon!

I’m born and raised in the region and have been living in Venice for over 13 years. I originally moved here to study, but then I fell in love with the city and never left.

For 8 months a year I’m a rockstar tour guide and the remaining time I’m a trip coordinator all around the globe, so changes to are high I’ve been to your country!

I’m funny, entertaining and engaging. I like to take visitors in the most hidden parts of the city to show the authentic Venice but I also enjoy covering the highlights, plus… I love food and wine! So if you’re looking for the right spots where to go, you’re with the right person!

Federico provided my 19 year old daughter and I with an outstanding personalized tour of the Basilica and Palace. He shared the history and stories associated with this two locations to make the tour enjoyable, educational, and memorable. I highly recommend private tours with Federico. Federico was a great tour guide for Venice! We have two kids ages 14 and 10 and they were interested and engaged in the tour. Federico kept the tour interesting and funny! He brought us to an amazing gelato place and gave us great ideas for after the tour. The 4 of us really enjoyed the day and learned so much. After The tour both of our kids said how much they loved the tour and that Federico was by far the best tour guide we have ever had! Fantastic tour of Venice!

Federico was amazingly knowledgeable and entertaining and the palace and st marks visits were so much better with a guide) My only question was why we stood in line for 40 minutes listening to the history of Venice (which was super informative) when we could have paid a little extra for skip the line tickets and spent more time walking in the area for a history tour (unless of course that isn’t how skip the line works) Fun and informative

We only had 8 hours to see and learn about Venice and our tour with Federico was perfect! The time was brief but perfect to entertain our 11 and 13 year olds. Highly recommended if you need a fun and quick overview while still allowing time to explore. Perfect for a day trip with tweens

Federico was an awesome guide. We had the feeling that he customized the tour around our areas of interest rather than just repeating a standard script. He was friendly and able to answer all of our many questions in detail. Federico also had a good sense of humor which helped to make the historical tour fun and engaging. It helps that he is a local of Venice and cares deeply about the history of the area. Federico had also great communication so we could find him easily and also was patient and understanding when we ran a few minutes late due to a delay of the public transportation. Overall the tour was a highlight of our trip to Venice and we really recommend Federico! Thank you!Our Highlight: the tour with Federico!

For those of you considering a visit to Venice, I beg you consider booking some time with Federico. We met Federico on a very hot day in Venice with two adults and three teenaged children in tow. He met us the exact location and the exact time, was prompt, enthusiastic, and engaging for the adults and for the kids. Federico’s English is perfect and he has a passion for all things related to Venice (he is a full time resident unlike so many others working in Venice). Federico shared his local knowledge with us about the history of Venice, the Piazza San Marco, the basilica and the Doge’s palace. Most importantly, Federico shared the little details about Venice that you never find on your own…ask him about the pork and cabbage story! He was willing to change up the itinerary to allow us to take in a few additional sites and explore the Campanile di San Marco. Federico also shared his favorite places to eat and spend time around Venice. I’m a bit of a history buff and Federico provided deep insights to my nerdy questions. He had outstanding local and historical knowledge which I absolutely appreciated. If we had had more time in Venice, we would’ve certainly spent more time with Federico exploring different areas of the city. Whenever you visit Venice next, please spend some time with Federico. I know my family and I will absolutely look forward to our next visit and spending a day or two with Federico. Thank you, Federico! Federico is the Best

Frederico was a great guide who took his time and really showed us all of the Venice highlights. His local knowledge of the culture and history was excellent and our children (17 Y/O girl and 11 Y/O boy) really enjoyed it. We were concerned, as this was their first city walking tour, but Frederico did not disappoint. He engaged the children and we highly recommend this tour. Wonderful Experience
