Fernando's tour was so fun - natural and flowing like we were with another friend who happened to know a lot about Panamanian food, culture and history. The tour was really ours to shape and Fernando had plenty of historical facts and personal anecdotes in response to our questions. The food was super delicious and felt like a locals' experience. Highly recommend this tour!Great experience with Fernando

Fernando was great, very accomodating and nice person to meet and be around. We had vegetarians and our group and he made sure they had options. That being sad, I think this experience should be marketed differently and is not a food tour in the traditional sense. This is more of a dinner with a local person who you could ask questions if you want. It did not have the multiple stops element, we did an appetizer, dinner, and dessert spot. So while we did taste 10 items, I would like to warn its not multiple stops with some history or chats about the city along the way, its just 3 sit down spots. It also didnt have the currated feel of other food tours where it feels like these are the traditional items to taste and heres why. Overall my group had a good time but thought it was pricey for what you get and not a traditional food tour, much more of just 3 stops with a local showing you where to go and ordering for you. not traditional food tour

We had a great first day in Panama walking around the Old Town with Fernando. He gave us insights into the history, old and new, of Casco Antiguo and Panama, in general. It was an excellent introduction to Panama!Casco Antiguo with Fernando

My work colleagues and I really enjoyed this tour. The ceviche was amazing and we got some good coffee too. There was definitely enough food at the 3 stops. Fernando was very personable and made good recommendations. His English was also very good.Awesome tour

We started late, but that's because we all got stuck in Carnival traffic. We eventually made it to the first restaurant, where we had ceviche. It was delicious! Then we had a nice walk over to Café Coca-Cola, where Fernando ordered us a sampler of sorts to try the main foods they offer. It was an excellent spread and enticed us to go back later in our trip for a meal. He was very personable and funny, and we enjoyed running into him serendipitously later in the week. Our group really enjoyed the experience and had a great time. Excellent experience

Gustavo stood in for Fernando on a 2 hour walking tour of Casco Viejo in Panama City. He was knowledgeable and well connected and great fun to chat with for the whole tour. I would recommend Gustavo and use him again if I return to Panama City which I have found impressive Delightful tour with Gustavo

we went on a food tour the other day of Panama city and Fernando was a great guide. We had a ton of fun. only critique was in our group we had a few that did not eat pork and we had a fair amount of it. The tour was fun, the food was great and we got some insight of the fish market and the surrounding old town and finished it off with some great gelato. thanks fernando great guy and friendly.

We had a great evening food tour with Fernando. We met at a local restaurant for ceviche and a beer, where we talked about Panama and got to know each other a bit. He asked if we had any food preferences so he could tailor the tour to our needs. After that, we walked to the Coca Cola Cafe for a delicious fish dinner and more conversation. Our final stop was for refreshing gelato. Because we didn't want any additional food stops, Fernando gave us a walking tour of Old Town explaining the sights. The experience was delightful in every way. Fernando is very personable and eager to share information about life in Panama. We returned to our hotel happy and fed.Wonderful!

We did a biking tour with Fernando on the Cinta Costera and through Casco Viejo. We enjoyed the tour and his company so much we scheduled a second tour with him. We had a private tour of the Miraflores Locks and a boat ride on Lake Gatun including a visit to Monkey Island. Unfortunately, no ships were passing through the locks that day but the IMAX movie and tour of the locks were great. It was awesome to be on the lake passing container ships and seeing the groups of monkeys on the island. Fernando is a very good guide -- knowledgeable, engaging, attentive and all round good guy anyone would enjoy spending time with.
