Claudio

Born and raised in Rome, Italy, I studied anthropology and ethnomusicology and after being Tv-cameraman, sound technician, mechanic, music producer, oil platform washer, kinder-garden assistant, bicycle mechanic and seller, I became a guitar maker and discovered my real interests: music and tourism!

Now I spend my time enjoying these two passions trying to be the best at them in a professional way with a special attention to my local traditions. I became a tour leader in 2009 and professional musician in 2013. I speak Italian, English, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and French.

Claudio was amazing. He customized our tour to accommodate everyone from our family. From the start with local fresh cappuccinos to walking/hiking tour of on the hillside of Tuscolo to an unforgettable lunch at a local restaurant, Claudio paid attention to every detailed. Claudio took my wife & me on a hidden gem tour of Rome. Claudio was incredibly knowledgeable, open to questions, flexible in terms of our itinerary SMS helped make our trip fun yet respectful of my wife’s limited ability to walk for extended periods of time. On our first day arriving in Rome, we went on our food tour with Claudio. Not only did we eat some wonderful tasting food, we toured some beautiful neighborhoods and Claudio filled us in on some great history. I highly recommend this tour, as it was the perfect way to be introduced to Rome with a perfect tour guide. Thanks to Claudio he made our first day an amazing one! Fabulous time with Claudio

My husband & I had an amazing tour of the Frascati area; ruins, working farm/vineyard, & authentic dishes. Claudio is very personable, charming, & knowledgeable...we highly suggest booking w/him for a top-notch experience. Beautiful way to spend the day

Claudio took us on a nice tour through Rome and told us a lot about the city, history and spots to visit. As it wasn’t our first time in Rome he adjusted the tour to show us new places we didn’t see before. We had a lovely time with Claudio!Loved our tour with Claudio

As my first ever tour other than with Masai Mara in Africa exploring and seeing so many wonderful and magical places with Claudio was an explosion of the senses His knowledge and experience filled my time with awe and excitement with so many twists and turns that truly made my day. Claudio’s enthusiasm was refreshing and inspiring and recommend treading the ground of the great historical city with him teaching and sharing his wisdom, enabling learning about the fascinating past of the seen and unseen wherever he leads you and you will leave having a glimpse of the wonders of Rome Karina

We had not planned anything for our last day in Rome so I was looking for a short tour and came across this amazing wine tasting tour. I sent a message to Claudio, and he replied immediately, giving us a tailor made plan for a last minute tour that has been the highlight of our stay! Claudio accommodated our requests and did some last minute changes to the program because it was raining. Wow! Everything was excellent and Simone gave us a lot of information on the process of wine making as well as the wine we tasted at the vineyard. We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch with another wine tasting at a restaurant. Unforgettable!! Claudio is truly amazing, he is incredibly knowledgable, very friendly and will make sure you will have a fantastic experience. Worth every minute!!

We had a pleasant tour with claudio. He was a very nice man and had a lot of knowledge. However the tour did not exactly go as we expected. We had no special requests for the tour and we expected the guide to have a clear plan for us, but instead we felt we were wandering aimlessly around the city. The places we visited felt a bit random, even though they were nice. Also, the tour guide did not talk and explain as much as we wanted. All in all this was a mediocre experience. Maybe this tour is suitable for people who have a clearer plan for their tour.Nice but not what we expected
