"Hi, I'm Francesca Romana. Even my name explains my bond with this city!

My father's family arrived in Rome during the XVIII century and I feel as an integrated part of this city!

I work as a computer programmer, but I've always been interested in art history, especially in Rome. I studied Art History at the University to complete my knowledge and to have the chance to becaome a Tour Guide.

I decided to join ""Withlocals"" because I think it's a great idea to meet locals in their own country (I always try to assimilate all traditions when I go abroad) and because I'd like to share my knowledge with other people from all over the world!

Furthermore, now that I have two children, I feel the necessity to offer them the opportunity to get in touch with art and history, without being bored: that's the reason why I propose my tour principally for families, not excluding the other people, of course!

Francesca was a great guide—very knowledgeable, flexible, and congenial. We have been to Rome a number of times but wanted to figure out where we were in relationship to our hotel. As we visited many city center cites she would tell us how to get back to our hotel. I must say this was very valuable information. Getting oriented in Rome

Francesca was a great guide. Her knowledge and passion about art shines through. There is so much history and Francesca communicated these beautifully. The tour was enjoyed by us all ( including the kids!) Informative tour of Vatican.

We enjoyed oud visit with Francesca very much. She helped us perfectly to the museum, with attention to the beautifull details. Wish we could have spent a whole day at the museum with her. Super nice visit to the vatican musea

Francesca is a wonderful guide sharing so much knowledge of the Vatican museums. She recommended we do the tour late in day to avoid the big crowds and the heat which worked very well on a very hot day.
