I am a professional caterer with an Italian/British background, and have been a food guide since 2007, doing also cooking classes for foreigners. I am enthusiastic about my hometown and everything to do with food, and I love meeting new people from all over the world. My husband is an executive chef, so food is REALLY big for us!

Very pleasant, on time, and informative. Would recommend Francesca for any other family. We felt like we had plenty of time at each stop, and Francesca was well prepared with extra water and serving materials.

We LOVED this tour! You must do this with Francesca! She was so kind and accommodating. She even made a special stop just for us because we mentioned that we want to see a site. Come hungry; we did and could not finish it all. Being introduced to Roman culture through food by Francesca was not only interesting and fun but also appreciated. The best part was that it felt like we were just enjoying the afternoon with a good friend. Thank you, Francesca!A Great Way to begin a Roman holiday!

Francesca was very knowledgeable and very polite. She took us around to local spots in Rome where we were able to taste a variety of foods. We even got to know her a little bit by exchanging some family stories, etc. It brought a nice human touch to the whole experience. I would recommend this tour for anyone new to Rome that wants to experience different flavors within the city!Great food tour!

I highly recommend Francesca for a food tour in Rome. And what a great way to discover this beautiful city. Her expertise in gastronomy, local products, and “off the beaten path” spots she brought us to, made this an incredible experience. She was easy to converse with and gave us good insight on the history and local nuances of food. Definitely recommend this tour with her especially at the beginning of your trip.Unique experience

I would recommend Francesca, specifically, if you want to do a food tour in Rome. It was especially helpful for us as first time visitors to Rome.
Meeting spot was great, food variety worked really well for us, and it’s exactly what we needed as an introduction to local Roman and Italian food.
Francesca‘s knowledge of food and her relationships at the market and different restaurants made the tour feel like it was a lot more than just showing us spots and dishes to order, but a great time learning about history, culture, and the nuances of local food. Conversation was great, she was so easy to be with for three hours, and she even gave us some incredible recommendations after the tour for other spots we could explore.
Favorite stops were food tasting in the market, the most amazing pizza, and a spot with fresh suppli. Almost forgot the gelato! Now that I think about it, everything was pretty amazing!

We loved our time with Francesca. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and took us to very authentic locations. Every stop was great, and she was very patient with our baby. Definitely recommend, especially at the start of your trip so you get the lay of the land. Great experience!

Francesca is a true expert in gastronomy, local products and places to eat around Rome. She loves the city and knows a lot about art and history too! The tour leaves you with a well rounded experience of street food and local delicacies as well as tips what to try on your own and consider to bring home. A citizen of the world, she can connect and make conversation easily with people of different culture and discuss any topics. One tip - plan your tour for the morning and ideally a working day to avoid crowds / queues!Super recommendable!

We had a great food tour with Francesca. She is very knowledgeable and welcoming. All of the stops on the tour were excellent, with great food and great conversation with Francesca along the way and with her friends at the various stops. She was also very flexible. We don’t eat a lot of meat and on the fly she modified the tour to give us an unplanned extra vegetable focussed stop. We highly recommend Francesca! Wonderful Food Curator
