I am a former journalist with a degree in modern languages and passionate about history of art; I had the opportunity to be a guide during Milan Expo 2015 and I decided to follow my inner calling to be a guide and a tour leader! I love being with people and showing them my city, Milan. Cities are not merely cities, they are "human beings" in their own rights and deserve to be "told" to people, like stories.

Our guide Francesca was both knowledgeable, interesting and kind. The history was very interesting but what we enjoyed the most was the high quality food tastings in a very up market area of Milano with the warm company of our guide. We can thoroughly recommend this experience for those wanting a combination of culture, food and meet the locals. A true 'taste' of Milano.A cultural taste of Milano

We had Francesca arrange a custom tour for us so we could prepare for our Olympic visit. She did a wonderful job with research in advance and regular updates. We chose Francesca for this tour and so glad we did. She was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. My husband injured his knee and she was very mindful of his comfort. Her knowledge of Milan’s history is vast. We learned so much. She brought us to churches as this was our interest. We strolled through a lovely botanical garden. It happened to be fashion week so we detoured to the high end designer shopping district to window shop. She found a terrific cafe for lunch with the most delicious paninis. If you choose Francesca for this tour you will not be disappointed!This is a Great Start to Tour Milan!

Francesca is an excellent guide and is hugely knowledgable about history, politics and the history of art. We covered a lot of ground in our three hours with her both literally and metaphorically (lots of questions asked and answered). She gave us a fantastic recommendation for lunch in Brera allowing us to avoid tourist restaurants. Good overview of Milan

Francesca was an excellent communicator from the start, answering all my messages and requests very promptly. She met me at the exact time and location that I requested. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Milan and took me to many points of interest, hidden museums and churches that I would’ve missed. She also informed me about many cultural aspects of Milan including the food and fashion scene. Very enjoyable 3 hours. Efficient crash course on Milan, since I had very limited time Perfect day

Francesca is knowledgeable about Milan's history and its impact on language, cuisine, and culture. We toured in the Brera area and had several staples that all hit the spot: focaccia pizza, charcuterie and wine, cappuccino and hot chocolate, gelato, cannoli, and cannoncini. During our recent trip to Milan we had the pleasure of being guided by Francesca for a 3 hour tour of the city. She is a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide with a passion for the city's history, culture and art. The tour balanced iconic landmarks like the Duomo and Sforza Castle with hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own.
