I'm an art historian and my area of expertise is Religious Art of the Baroque Period. Rome is a stratified city: every monument tells about a specific historical time, from the Ancient Period to the XX century. The story of Europe starts from here! Exploring Roman Art is the best way to understand the story of the city and our culture deeply.

Every tour for me is an opportunity to know other cultures and personal stories, creating new connections with people from around the world.

I've lived in France and Portugal and I speak Italian, English, and French. I'm a very curious girl, enthusiastic about life and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others!

Francesca was a wonderful guide. Despite the heat she kept us and our teenagers engaged and interested in the art and history of Rome. She is clearly passionate about her work, and is able to make her knowledge relatable. She adjusted her tour as we went to include a savory snack of local Roman pizza which was delicious. We would hire her again for another tour if we had more time! History and art

I had never been to Italy and I don't know anyone who lives there, so I wanted to start our week off with a general understanding of our context. Francesca exceeded my expectations; we all learned SO much from her. Importantly, I was able to make connections to what she taught us all throughout the rest of our trip. She helped me to understand how the city of Rome is constructed, the Baroque style of art that we saw in so many places, and so much more. She was attentive to the needs of our group of five and worked in a break for my mom to sit down in a cool church. She kept my 10- and 11-year-old daughters engaged. (Their review of Francesca is "she was nice!"). She ended the tour with a recommendation for a pizza place that even by the end of the trip (and after tasting many pizzas), remained my kids' favorite. The three hours went by very quickly. Booking this tour was definitely one of the best decisions I made. I highly recommend Francesca.Worth it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning tour with Francesca. She is a lovely and delightful young woman and we felt comfortable with her from the very start of the tour. Her vast knowledge of art history and the historic center of Rome was impressive. It made for a very fun, interesting and entertaining tour. We learned so many things that we would have never known had we tried to investigate the city on our own. She provided many helpful insights and then followed up with a very informative text that provided additional information. We highly recommend Francesca - she clearly loves her city and is a marvelous representative.Francesca is a treasure!

Francesca was the perfect guide. We were looking for places away from the main tourist attractions with a focus on art history. Francesca provided an insightful and interesting tour of several historic art locations across the city. It’s also great when you can connect with your guide which Francesca did with my wife and me. Despite us taking the tour in the middle of Easter, Francesca was able to accommodate our requests and tailor a tour for our family. She is a lovely person, smiling and knowledgeable - and she gave us a wonderful food experience.A wonderful food experience
