While the 3hs together were nice with Francisca,this was not a HP tour. We did it on a Sunday and learned while on it that the couple of spots that inspired JKR were closed on Sundays (why offer the tour then is beyond me). Francisca also asked during the tour when we wanted to go to Livraria Lello, another spot for fans, and we learned this wouldn't happen during our time together, neither would we benefit from skipping the long queue for that reason. I think these are all things that can be communicated ahead of time to set expectations. Francisca is a knowledgeable local architect who does tours in her free time. She was patient with my children and tried to accommodate the tour to having small kids. She also gave us an excellent lunch recommendation we enjoyed. I think our experience would have been better if our expectations had been correct. Not a Harry Potter tour, but nice!

Easy going, fun and extremely knowledgeable ! Sights that were out of the ordinary along with the main tourist need to see. We liked her a lot!!Best Ever

Tuvimos una experiencia fantástica en Oporto gracias a Francisca, una guía cercana, apasionada y con gran conocimiento de la ciudad. Nos llevó a descubrir su historia, arquitectura y curiosidades, adaptando el recorrido a nuestros hijos sin dejar de ofrecernos información interesante y actual. Fue muy generosa con sus recomendaciones y nos mostró tiendas y rincones originales para comprar productos locales
El día del tour coincidía con el cumpleaños de mi marido y, a pesar de que era fiesta nacional, Francisca se encargó de organizar todo: desde reservar dos restaurantes preciosos (uno junto al río y otro en el centro de la ciudad) hasta sorprendernos con una pequeña tarta para celebrar en familia. Fue un gesto precioso que convirtió ese día en algo realmente especial.

Francisca is one of the best guides I have ever met, if not the best! Her knowledge of Porto’s history, art, culture & dining is unparalleled. She’s warm and friendly (also super cool!), yet professional. She tailored the tour perfectly to suit our interests, so we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Francisca for such a wonderful day in Porto, it was one of the highlights of our European trip. We are so lucky to have met you! The most fantastic guide!

Francisca was such a great guide. Deep into history (not shockingly, architecture) and the rich Portuguese culture. She had a long list of recommendations for us to fill the restbof our time. She was very helpful in us planning our night for Festa do São João! And even told us about the regatta the following day amongst the Porto wineries. Franziska hat uns mit viel Herzblut durch Porto geführt, vom Bahnhof mit seiner Geschichte, über den McDonalds im schönsten Jugendstilgebäude der Stadt, dem kleinen, feinen Traiteurgeschäft und dem neu renovierten Markt, liess die Führung nichts zu wünschen übrig. Insbesondere für architektonisch interessierte Gäste unbedingt zu empfehlen.kleiner Rundgang mit vielen Highlights

Francisca gave a very impeccable journey (mix of Porto origin, hidden architectural wonders , food, local artisan and market trip). Visits to modern businesses who have transformed home grown ideas like packing a grandmother’s recipe j into modern tube was a unique insight!
It was an exquisite right blend of the historical background with city’s evolution into a modern tourist bustling city (newly built landmarks like the Metro and the university).
She is knowledgeable , patient and flexible in tuning the trip to the tourist choices.
