Hello! I'm Francisco, a Lisbon native, or as we call ourselves here, a "alfacinha". I've always lived in Lisbon so I'm very familiar with all the details but most of all I'm a great enthusiast of the Portuguese culture, history, and gastronomy, which are the main vectors why people find this marvelous country and its people so appealing.

Although I've lived most of my life in the corporate environment as an executive, showcasing our culture and our country has always been a passion and so, after a few years of study, I started this business in 2015 where I have the chance to be a "Chief Experience Officer" for my home town and country, interact and learn every day with different and astonishing people from all over the world. So come with me and learn some curious aspects of our history and culture while visiting some marvelous locations of my country.

You will find a lot of options in my tours, but these are always customizable tours and you will always be the king(s) of the day(s), meaning that we can always replace some aspects of the tour for others more appealing to you. Our tours can cover the whole of Portugal, the standard tours always depart and return to Lisbon, but according to your needs and availability, multiday programs can be arranged covering several destinations within Portugal.

Also if you wish to book more than one tour, please request a custom program where I can make a small discount when 3 or more day tours are ordered on the same trip.

Francisco brought us to some amazing stops. The beaches were gorgeous and there was a good mix of historical information and sites as well. He was thoughtful and kind and let us take our time to take in the beauty of each stop. He found us a local restaurant in a fishing village where we chose our own fish for them to prepare for us. I highly recommend this tour. It was nice to get out of the city.Highly recommend this tour

Our tour guide Francisco was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He shared so much information about the area, the palaces and the inhabitants of various buildings we visited. He helped us set up a doable itinerary, where we saw three sites (Pena Palace, The National Palace, and Monserrate Palace) had a wonderful lunch, and stopped for delicious coffee/pastry. At the end of the say he even remembered that we wanted to pick up gifts for our moms and took us to a beautiful shop to purchase the perfect gifts! Francisco was also in communication prior to our tour day which had to be changed due to the shutdown of the monuments and he made that a seamless and easy experience. Francisco was an amazing tour guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and informative. He customized our itinerary based on our wants, introduced us to local restaurants and wineries off the main tourist routes, and flexed each day based on the changes to the weather. I would highly recommend Francisco and Week Break Tours. I will definitely be using him again on my next visit to Lisboa.Francisco was an Amazing Tour Guide!

Highly recommend tour with Francisco. He was very knowledgeable, had great recommendations for our group, took us to the best coffee/pastry shops and we had a great time touring the castle at Sintra and shopping at the nearby shops. This was our favorite tour on our vacation/cruise. Will definitely book another tour with Francisco the next time we are in Lisbon.Highly Recommend

Francisco was great. Gave us some good recommnedations on what to see and how to navigate the crowds. Turned out to be our favorite tour of our trip. He was very knowledgable and did a great job of keeping the day interesting without it feeling oerwhelming. He recommended a luncheon place that turned out to be the best meal of the trip. If I could award 10 stars I would do so. Francisco is knowledgeable. Well versed in the history of Lisbon and Portugal. Knows the city like the back of his hand. But beyond that was his kindness. On our tour of Sintra I ran into a pick pocket. Lost money, credit and bank cards. Even hearing aid batteries. Francisco jumped into action. Found an atm to replenish our cash. Went in a search of batteries. No luck there. Dropped us at our hotel. On his way home made another try at finding batteries. Success. Returned to our hotel on his own time after hours and dropped them off. Above and beyond the call of duty. A great guide and even better person.I would award 10 stars!

My wife and I had an incredible experience with Francisco. We spent an entire day with him touring Sintra and the surrounding areas. He is professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the history, art, and geography. In addition, he is flexible and goes out of his way to make sure you are enjoying the trip. Francisco did an outstanding job, he was extremely knowledgeable and informative, without boring us with needless details. We accomplished everything we had asked to do, including tours, dining and shopping. We have since received additional information on how valuable the shopping information actually was, only the best. His IT background was also a plus for a 75 year old man and wife. I would strongly suggest using Francisco for virtually anything in the Lisbon region.Francisco did an Outstanding Job

Excellent tour by luxury MB van and Francisco was a very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable guide. He really went above and beyond for us! The towns of Obidos, Nazare and Aveiro were thoroughly enjoyed and he recommended restaurants, pastry shops and specialty shops in these towns for us to experience. He also recommended things to see when we got to Porto. A wonderful day! Thank you:)A Wonderful Day!
