Hello, my name is Gabriel, I have lived and grown up in the bright and chaotic city of Mexico all my life and I love it so I will continue in this experience for a long time!

Throughout my short but frenetic life I have had the opportunity to experience two sides of the city, the quiet and tourist side it offers, but I have also lived for a long time in the authentic places of the city where only the locals go.

It has been on this side where I have spent the most time experiencing the authentic flavors and customs that the city has, always eager to learn more. I got involved in the family business. My father owns three taquerias in one of the most important markets in the city, but for me it has always been was to take it a little further so I specialized and got certified by the ministry of tourism in Mexican gastronomy to be able to have a better reference of my culture, tradicions and its flavors.

I like to adventure, learn new techniques, flavors, smells, be willing to obtain new experiences, always being very adventurous together I would like us to reach that point where I manage to transmit my little or a lot of knowledge along with your desire to take away what is the customs of a local.

this tour would be the reason I would do it! Gabriel was an amazing guide, knowledgeable and well liked at the market. The food, like everywhere else in the city, was amazing, full of flavour and exactly what you want to try if it's your first time here and you want a selection of local cuisine without the tourist trap. Both markets were a great experience and Gabriel was happy to steer me away from some parts of the market that I didn't like. I can't express how much I enjoyed this tour and I highly recommend it if you're a foodie, history buff or just want to experience the local city hustle and bustle.If I pack and move to mexico

We saw so many different things at La Merced Market. Gabriel and Stefania were amazing guides. They helped us navigate the markets and were also entertaining. Come with an appetite because there is a lot of food!The tour was great!
