My wife and I came to Napoli for the first time and Gennaro treated us to a lovely experience. I found Gennaro on with locals and he was highly reviewed. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful to planning our vacation. We met up for a mixed food and city discovery tour with Gennaro. He took us both by foot and in vehicle to see some of the most amazing sites. He took us down some paths less traveled, some incredible scenic views, and through the hustle bustle must see areas of Napoli. The multiple food stops along the way really was some incredible delicacies of sweet savory and of course, fried. After eating the multigenerational real deal Neapolitan pizza, I don’t think I can ever have pizza anywhere else again. Book with Gennaro and you’ll have a wonderful experience seeing the best that Naples has to offer. Genaro was always available for contact for our additional needs both in Naples and Capri. My wife and I will treasure our time spent in Italy thanks to our new friend Gennaro. See the real Napoli with Gennaro!

We had a wonderful time as a family learning how to make authentic Neapolitan pizzas with Gennaro. He took us to his friend Vincenzo’s Pizza Bar, who has been making pizza since in the womb!! We learnt how to make the dough from scratch, including how to activate the yeast and mix and knead the dough perfectly. We then learnt how to prepare the ingredients with vital tips we never knew. We had lots of fun learning how to push the dough into shape - it’s such an art, and we can’t wait to do it at home. Afterwards we pulled the uncooked pizzas onto the paddle and watched them go into the 450 degrees C oven, and then sat down to enjoy them afterwards - with a Peroni beer of course! They were absolutely delicious!! Thank you to Gennaro for such a fun afternoon - we laughed so much, and our pizza making session was the perfect break from touring all day. We also did another 2 yours with Gennaro in Naples (City Tour and 10 tastings of Naples) and we can’t recommend him enough. He’s kind, funny, generous, knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about the city of Naples. Gennaro also asked us to contact him at any time with questions we may have. Definitely a highlight of our trip to ItalyBest Pizza Making Experience!

It’s very difficult to put into words our tour with Gennaro, as I was quite moved by the end of it. Gennaro highlighted the complexities of this incredible city as he guided us around. He sees the city from the eyes of a local, but also from the eyes of an outsider, thanks to time he also spends away from Naples. He explained Naples’ history, how it developed, and how it works today. We walked the main streets, wandered the Spanish Quarter and also took the Funicular to see a truly amazing view of sprawling Naples. We learnt about the light and shade of the city, cultural elements, superstition, religion, food, music, tourism and education. Gennaro is so passionate about Naples and we were incredibly grateful for the time we spent with him (we also did a pizza making class and food tour with Gennaro - all incredible). I would highly recommend this to anyone!Incredible and Unforgettable Tour

We had a great experience on the 10 Tastings of Napoli tour with Gennaro! He was a gracious and enthusiastic host, truly passionate about his hometown and excited to share it with our family. Gennaro was patient, kind, and had a great sense of humor, which made the tour both fun and engaging-especially in the heat with a 14yr old boy!! There is a lot of delicious food. Each stop offered a unique taste of Naples, and Gennaro added rich stories and context that made everything even more enjoyable. We walked away with full stomachs and a deeper appreciation for the culture and cuisine of Naples. Highly recommend this tour—and especially Gennaro!Perfect way to explore Napoli!

Thank you again for that wonderful afternoon in Napoli, Gennaro! We were first timers to Naples and had only a short stay of two days. After our tour with Gennaro we had a much deeper insight insight in this lively city, packed with 2500 years of history. He really loves his home town and showed us around as welcome guests. There were many highlights in the tour like watching the pizza maker and having the same pizza minutes after that in perfect style. Gennaro is very knowledgeable in history and food and all you need to know about Naples. We couldn’t think about a better guide for this place!Wonderful stroll through Naples

Our pizza-making experience with Gennaro was unforgettable. The tour began with a deep dive into Napoli’s rich history and culture—Gennaro’s pride and passion brought the city to life through stories and local insights you'd never find in a guidebook. After enjoying delicious fried pizza and a cold Peroni, we headed to a family-run pizzeria where we learned to knead dough like true Neapolitans. Guided by the owner, we crafted both margherita and marinara pizzas, which turned out to be some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Gennaro’s warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the experience truly special.
