Hello, my name is Giada,

My name is Giada, I'm your local Switzerland based friend :) I love to walk everywhere, I love to explore on foot and hiking in the mountains is my happy place. I'm also a yoga teacher, travel designer and always happy to showcase this hidden gem of a country to my guests. My focus is always on local, sustainable and active travel - which means creating experiences which are meaningful because they are real!

Come visit me and let me take you on the most unforgettable adventures, whether it's an urban hike through the city or an adventure in the Swiss Alps, I'll show you "my Switzerland" and the many reasons why it's a true natural paradise. Everything from the local culture and traditions, to mountain hut and train etiquette, to the alpine cheese and the many stories that inhabit these lands.

I'm looking forward to explore Switzerland on foot and by train together and I'm happy to be your guide and hostess.

I live in Zurich and I’m a big hiker, so I'm always looking for ways to blend my love for hiking into everyday life. Zurich Urban Hikes was such a cool surprise! It gave me a whole new appreciation for the city - taking me through hidden paths, "secret" passageways, and green spaces I hadn’t explored, even after years of living here. Giada even included some Swiss treats at the end! Definitely recommend as a fun, active way to explore the city.Fun way to discover the city!

Giada was the best tour guide! This was action packed! She was knowledgeable and caring! So many activities up on the mountain! Breath taking views! The sun was shinning above but it was sooo cold! The rotating gondola on top was amazing! She explained what we could do and gave suggestions! We were on the suspension bridge, amazing! The ski lift thing, something Flyer had spectacular views and you watched people skiing! We liked walking inside the glacier, but very slippery, hold on tight! They had tubing, but we did not do that. So much fun, all day! We ate at the snack shop! I highly recommend going on this tour! Enjoyed it so much!!!Outstanding, a must do!!

I went on this tour (Zurich city Highlights & Lindt Home of Chocolate) with one of my besties, and it was a great experience. Giada was very knowledgeable, she made the trip worth while!!!Favorite Tour of Switzerland so far!

It was a very beautiful and broad walk in downtown Zurich. Giada gave us brief information on the most important places, and she was very nice and even gave us a treat at the end. Thank you very much!Great walk in the city@
